Description
Hello dear musicians :)

When choosing the theme "Inside my world," I had the OSTs of Celeste in mind. I especially listened to "First Steps" a lot for this piece :) I tried to create a minimal composition. Since we used Ableton Live throughout my composition studies, I prefer to use Ableton. I hope you enjoy it!

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
I believe that every person is born creative. Unfortunately, as we grow up, our worries change shape and swallow our creativity. The theme "Inside my world" made me think that no matter a person's age, profession, or place of birth, they can discover many things about themselves when they focus on their inner world. I liken my minimal motifs to the metaphor of these small steps multiplying and a person rediscovering themselves. :)

The time of sad chiptune, simple piano, my favorite percussion, choir, oriental instruments...

In general, it was interesting! The good progression of the composition and the selection of instruments set the atmosphere, which is perfect for both the overall theme of the jam and the title of your composition!

P.S. I like the message of your composition!

P.S.S. Cute cover art)

Sound so good! Very nice choice of instruments also! <3

Really pretty! I like how each part works really well on it's own, so it has greater contribution to the greater whole. Big shoutout to the strings, they sound incredible!

This is a very nice track, good job!

Sounds really sweet, amazing build up, it takes the whole song but its so well tempered that there is no moment of boredom, well done !

I feel “Above The Clouds” is a fitting title. Really like the consistency of the bell like timbre’s for this track. I like the synth melody around 1:23, it created a sense of movement in the song, but I found it was a bit too crisp and digital sounding when blended with the piano and bells from the beginning of the song. The strings around the 2:00 mark were a nice touch, but I thought they got pulled out too quickly at 2:15, it felt like an undeveloped idea. Overall I think this is a good song that could be developed some more to become a great song. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely mood straight away from the first couple of bars, and I wasn't expecting there to be a synth lead later on - I do like it and it's a really interesting combination of timbres! It reminded me a little of some of the Animal Crossing music, and the opening of the movie Inside Out which I think had a bit of a gentle minimal thing going on with it too. Really enjoyed that, thankyou!

Such a pretty tune! The minimalism here is quite effective. I can definitely hear the Celeste influence and that is no bad thing at all!

It has a very heartwarming sound and its simplicity grabs my attention. The evolution of the song was quite pleasant and the sounds I cannot describe else than cute. I would love to hear a full album of this or play a game with this as a soundtrack.

This is quite the mishmash of genres - reminds me of something the YT algorithm might throw my way and be pleasantly surprised at. The additive layering is fun, and I do appreciate the subtleties woven throughout (particularly the acoustic guitar melody that drifts in the background of the tines. The orchestral section is great, followed by the subtraction of the layers until we're back to step 1 again. I think this entry is really interesting - nails the theme as it feels like a very personal kind of composition.

I liked the violins a lot. Especially when they had their little staccato notes.
