Description
I made an orchestral/ambient track. The first track, A Distant Memory, is about trying to grasp a memory that your brain has forced you to forget. As soon as you think you remember, you instantly forget and start over again. You are trying to find what distant memory made you the way you are, going through every little detail in your subconscious mind. The second track, A Dream, is about making peace with your old memories and start hoping for your future with all the ups and downs.

Theme

Inside my world
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The soundtracks are about our subconscious minds. Going deep into our experiences and memories, trying to find what we truly want and who we truly are. The ambient bell sounds represent us wandering around inside our mind. I added a lot of delay and reverb to indicate that we are not in the real world, but in our own world.

Great use of arpeggios to give a sense of progression and evolution throughout your music! Good job!

Beautiful tracks, so calm and yet still interesting in a delightful way - well done! I'm a big pan of the arpeggios too.

(I see from your soundcloud icon that you're a harpist - me too!)

I liked the arpeggios a lot!

I'll have to agree with the comments. "A Dream" is definitely my favorite track. Nice job!

The synth at the beginning of A Dream is really cool, feels like something is flying. Was a nice listen overall.

Two very pretty ambient tracks; they fit the vibe of the image theme very well I think. Good work! A Dream was my favourite track from this!

this is so fire! im a big fan of reharmonization (home that's the right word). kinda reminds me of chants of sennaar (especially the warrior level) /legend of zelda games. the tracks sound similar in terms of instrumentation and texture, but they are so different harmonically that i think it works! wish there was a bit more tho. i think the two halves of "a dream" should have been separated (they would share motifs).

imagine if "a distant memory" were in 31edo tho

woah this is so pretty. the intro to A Distant Memory had me really hooked and gave me Pink Floyd vibes (Shine On You Crazy Diamond to be specific). this is really cool and the tracks fit the meanings you described for them pretty well. the way the percussion enters the first track is also really neat. A Dream is really encapsulating. i'm a sucker for arpeggios and the ones in that song are lovely. overall there's some great orchestral work on this project and proof of magical songwriting, great job.
