Description
This soundtrack has a runtime of 7 minutes and 26 seconds, and it was made in FL Studio.

The first track, "A Melliloquent Love," serves as the main theme of the game and would play on the title screen.
It also sets the theme for the rest of the soundtrack!

The second track, "Brought You New Flowers," would play immediately after starting the game. It would play during a cutscene, where the mother's daughter comes to the mother's grave (a bit grim, I know) and gives her some new flowers.
Near the end of the track, the music is supposed to convey the mother coming back into this world as a guardian angel.

The third track would play right after the second one. It would play while the mother tries to find her daughter.
The mother has an advantage, though, because she can see her daughter's imagination!

The fourth track skips a bit in time, as this is the ending theme of the game. The instrumentation is quite a bit different, but the feeling should still be the same!
It was supposed to have lyrics as well, but I didn't get to that.

Message from the artist
Hello :)

I should mention that the ending song's lyrics would've been something along the lines of:
"Inside my world, you still belong to me,
Inside my world, you are still mine,
Inside my world, time after time,
I will follow you,
And I won't allow anything to happen to you.
Inside my world, we are still together, forever.
Inside my world, I'm still with you,
Inside my world."

I cut out a bit of the lyrics from this message, but I hope it's fine :)
I hope that the lyrics don't sound creepy XD

Hey... that sounds like an Asian small symphony orchestra! I like some of the magic and airiness of the tracks.

Thank you!

Developer

Thank you, too! :D

Interesting submission! The reverb on the piano in the beginning can fit the image in some way. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! :)

The first 3 tracks were really great and fit well together. the last track though didn't feel like it fit with the others and the synth was rather shrill.

Developer

Yeah, I agree with that.
Thanks for rating!

Really nice submission, I can't pick really anything apart you did a pretty good job on all fronts to be honest. Great work!

Developer

Thank you! :)

Very good of you the atmospheres you have created. They were very enjoyable to listen. Thank you so much.

Also I loved the oriental flavor that you added to your first 3 compositions. It  enhance the color palette beautifully!

Well done!!

Developer

Thank you! I appreciate it :D

These are solid compositions. I like the use of vocals throughout a few of the tracks - a rare element in jams in particular. My favorite of the bunch is probably I'm Back, Flying to You with Inside My World being a close second - speaking of which, I appreciate the change of pace and tone in this one.

Overall its produced well - may be a little heavy on reverb in the first two tracks specifically but as someone who loves the 'verb I can't blame you, haha. All in all great job, I liked the dream-like vibes that run throughout and there are some interesting arrangements in here. Good work!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! :D
Although there aren't actually any vocals in any of the tracks, I believe what you might be hearing is the Chinese instrument called Erhu!

Very interesting harmony throughout. Also loved the Asian instruments.

I think you nailed the dreamy atmosphere needed for your game idea. My only critique is that the last song was much louder than the rest, had to turn it down. Great work!

Developer

Yeah, I should've thought about the loudness a bit more. I'll keep that in mind!
Thank you! :)

Oh whoa this is unique. Haven't heard any others yet doing such a distinctly Asian folk sound. It sounds really cool! The synth song at the end is shockingly different but quite nice. I agree that the high drone is a bit much after a while. I could take small bursts probably. Thanks for making and sharing.

Developer

Thank you! :D

Day 2 of Rating Submissions With Few Ratings in the Hopes of Getting a Few in Return
I have not heard many people attempting music that has this east asian vibe to it. I can´t say that I am an expert in the style, and can therefore not vouch for authenticity, but it positively sticks out as a different approach.
Only point of criticism: The synth line in the last song is maybe a tad shrill.

Developer

Yeah, I've actually been told that about the synth before releasing the song, but I decided to leave it.
Thanks for the criticism! I appreciate it :D

Sounds great! Keep up the good work!
