Description
The imagined game that inspired this soundtrack follows an individual whose partner has been erased from existence. The only way the protagonist is able to see or contact their partner, now, is through their dreams, which toe the line between comforting and frightening. The instrumentation, melodies, and harmonies used in these songs were chosen to convey both a feeling of familiarity and unease.

The guitar work in these tracks is excellent!
Drifting off is so calm and peaceful, this is a really unique musical take that I haven't heard in any of the submissions yet, I really enjoyed it, thank you for sharing!
Heh... I really appreciate the work with recorded live instruments!
Is it worth saying that your soundtrack is beautiful? Good... IT'S BEAUTIFUL!
You've got a very good combination of sound effects (I love the effects of nature in Drifting Off), real guitar and orchestral instruments ....
Cool music, dude! I love it!
This submission is great! You did an awesome job, LOVE the guitar in the Searching for You track!
Loved "Drifting Off" and the guitar-forward soundtrack overall. The playing was great and I think the humanness goes a long way in capturing the feeling of familiarity. Good work!
Good work dude! I really liked Drifting Off. I gotta get a guitar because MIDI just doesn't hit the same as real raw guitar like you played for this OST.
Hey beholdmydemons, how are you? Hopefully you're doing well! Did you play the Guitar parts yourself; they sound like they could be real recordings! Either way, I'm really impressed with the color of your tracks and I can't say that I've heard anything quite like this thus far!
First, let's talk "Searching For You": I love that you started with a very catchy Guitar Motif and then just continue to build from there! The orchestral part complements the Guitar really well, and I love that you introduced a second guitar that has a different timbre. This piece feels conveys several different emotions to me, it feels solemn, nostalgic, reflective, and even expresses a feeling of contentment to me somehow. Because this piece gave me such a large variety of emotions, I think this track could be used in a variety of contexts, which is great! My only criticism would be that the piece ends a bit too abruptly in my opinion, but beyond that I think this is some great work!
Next, let's talk "Drifting Off": I admire that you chose you to layer in a really cool ambient track for this piece! The nature sounds (I think that's what those are) add a great sense of place and make me feel like I'm in a tranquil forest or campsite with some friends whom I really love and care about. Just like with "Searching For You", the repeating Guitar Motif is really beautiful and fun to listen to, it never gets old in my opinion! I'm really impressed with those track, great job!
Thank you for sharing your work, and I'm excited to see what music you make in the future. Best of luck for this Jam, beholdmydemons!
Thank you so much! Everything in this soundtrack aside from the MIDI orchestra was played and recorded by me. Drifting Off has 12 string guitar and 2 different banjos (panned to either side), and Searching for You has 12 string guitar, classical guitar, and banjola.
Again, thanks for your comment! It made my day!
This is the first truly guitar-oriented entry I've come across. I listened to Drifting Off first - clever use of ambience behind the arrangement, having it swell at the end was neat. The playing itself was good; fits overtop well and the supporting instrumentation provides just enough of a backbone to keep it going.
Searching For You is really good - very natural progression and layering. I feel as though this would fit in many different genres of games, from an RPG resting or Inn theme to a credit sequence at the beginning or end of an adventure game. Production is top notch, too. Great work!
