Description
The music I have written loosely falls into the genres of chamber music and minimalism as the music I made utilizes a small ensemble because I wanted the music to feel intimate with the listener. I used East West and Logic Pro X to render the MIDI mockup. Seeing the image prompt made me think a lot about being underwater and near the ocean; more specifically the bubbles, so I tried to have the music reflect that by having pockets of sound. (I own the rights of the water sounds as I recorded it myself).

How does it fit the theme?
The little girl that is pictured on the prompt seems enthusiastic and playful. I imagined her showing someone all the cool sea life and colours beneath the ocean.

I love the water sounds, delighted to hear you went the extra mile and recorded them yourself. Nice choice of instruments, too. very subtle. well done!

Lovely atmospheres has your soundtrack!

Very interesting use of pizzicato strings! Gotta check East West!

And the water recording is 10/10

The water sounds that I can't use ),: are very nice (:

Really loved the first track - the plucked strings, percussion and bells all combined to make a really nice atmosphere that I could really get lost in. Do agree with the last comment that the water sounds are a bit loud in the second track.

Great work!

"Deep Water Currents" begins with a nice staccoto string melody and shaker hits, works well to create intrigue. Legato strings at 0:45 broadcast a transition to another section. Swell and bell at 1:06 have a nice impact. I like the woodwind, very haunting. Nice galloping rhythm in the second half of the song.

"Welcome to My (Underwater) World" very beautiful melodies and nice use of counterpoint. My only concern is the water sound effect is loud enough to compete with the instruments for the listener's attention. IMO a good place to decrescendo the water would've been at 0:06 when the melody comes in.

Really interesting take! You let enough space for every instrument and that is really easy-listening! Nice submision!

I could hear that minimalist influence much more clearly in the second piece. The water effects throughout made it feel immersive and I loved where it arrived once all the layers were finally in place.

Some cute melodies and counterplay in the first piece before it takes a more somber turn with a very interesting transition. I wish the second piece was a bit longer! Nice job recording your own sound effects.

Your piece definitely picked up in the second half! The first bit had some questionable melodies, but once that big change came up it picked up into a nice flow with those nice flowing notes.
