Description
i don't really take from genres, i just, make music
Message from the artist
Slightly inspired by Sonic (specifically Sonic 1 MD for the title, and Sonic 1 GG bridge zone for Blue Bridge)
Really happy with how Blue Bridge (specifcally the later parts) and Boss 1 turned out! :)
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
small person get sucked via portal into some other reality, with his only guide to home as a translucent yellow path (that only he can see)
(i kinda made the music before the theme, so uhhhhh)

Very unique style for this jam!
This may sound weird but my favorite was actually the title screen track! I just thought it did an excellent job at taking me into this chiptune world!
Heh... it was definitely an experimental chiptune, with an admixture of epic, funky and groove (as well as fun!)
I liked it! Well done)
Really fun trucks, loved the energy and atmosphere that they create. Nice work!
I like the little intro each of your songs have like its being loaded along with the level, it's pretty charming. the bass in the boss theme goes crazy there too. This really give me early sonic vibes, which is a good thing
Nice chiptunes!! You put so much character into those simple synths, which isn't the easiest thing to do. I love that boss theme. AMAZING job!!
I love chiptunes! Great job on this one! Makes me want to listen to this more and more
Much like how the comment beneath mine stated, you nailed the the style a game from that era would use! I do enjoy my fair share of chiptune music so this was a very pleasant listening experience. I'd say my favorite track would have to be "Boss 1", but that's probably because I'm a fan of boss themes in general lol. But putting my bias aside, all the tracks are amazing and utilize the chiptune style very well!
Overall just some amazingly made chiptune tracks that make for a fun listening experience! If you have some time I'd also appreciate if you could check out my submission (if you want to, of course!).
That's all I have to say really, have a good day :D
Absolutely nailed the voicings that games of that era use; from the heavy vibrato, the fast-decaying and arpeggiated chords to the creative use of noise bursts, swishes and percussion stand-ins. I can absolutely envision hearing this in a game from back then. I love how you've captured the flair that this era was known for with the little trailaway arpeggios and catchy but brief Stage/Level Complete jingles.
Great work, chiptune is such a rewarding genre and those who know it well can really produce some great sounding stuff. Best of luck!
