Description
Genre: Orchestral Soundtrack
Type of Game: It was designed to work in role-playing and adventure games. I thought the music for some narrative moment in the story in a specific scene.
How I composed the track: I thought of a dramatic scene in the game as a big revelation in a character's plot, it would work as an opening song or a happy ending song too. First I composed her score in Sibelius and then produced it in the DAW (cubase)
Message from the artist
When I saw the theme of this jam, I remembered the Chinese legend about the Carp that transforms into a Dragon, after it goes through adversity in pursuit of its dream of climbing the forbidden river. So the song has this crescendo of a journey, the journey of a white dragon.

When I saw the photo, the aesthetics reminded me a little of Chinese dragons. So I tried to use that in music. It has typical Chinese instruments, but I also look for a sound based on the scales used in the melody. And the music, as I mentioned before, is a great journey, which represents well the idea of a chronicle

those harp glissandos at 0:35 are just gorgeous!! definitely did not expect the upbeat transition on the last third of the song but it fits SO well!! very JRPG. loved this one
This is a well written piece. 1:54-2:11 was beautiful, but then you hit us with that spicy transition. Very interesting chords and near non-stop stank facing. Good stuff.
This piece is very dynamic! It's very well put together!
oh i really enjoyed the chord changes at 2:00!
Great build-up. I really enjoyed the more upbeat part. Great work!
Gorgeous!! The part where the full ensemble kicks in around 2:10 is a nice touch!
Amazing! Glad to see some also thought of chinese inspiration to use in an orchestral piece. Very nicely built up too
The mixing and mastering is super good here. The shift halfway through was really great as well. Fantastic Job!
Really pretty piece! The beginning parts remind me a lot of a Korean folk song called "Arirang", specifically the melody. You did a great job of emulating a folk tune in that way which fits the theme really well to me.
