soundcloud or bandcamp are also ok! basically there just needs to be a reputable online platform to listen to it on, since it's easier and safer to do that than individually download everyone's tracks

i always look forward to your pieces because you have such interesting choices in instrumentation, often evoking some sense of something ancient being unearthed. closing my eyes and actually feeling the sound rotate around me was really fantastic.
as someone that really likes composing slower ambient tracks, i'm always aiming to "do a lot with a little," so i even feel a little bit of jealousy listening to tracks like this, cause i'm like damn, i gotta step my game up and start getting more creative and ambitious haha. anyways great submission!
nice little bop!
since you mentioned in some other comments that you're new to some mixing stuff (i still am too lol), some advice to make piano sound a little less "midi"-y is to adjust the velocity of individual notes and add a little sustain and reverb. when people play pianos in real life, it's rare that each note is played with the exact same amount of pressure, so adjusting velocity manually can help create a little more variance. sustain helps to connect the notes more so they don't get that midi choppiness. also if you're looking for any free VSTs with good piano sounds, spitfire LABS has some really great free piano packs in there!
wow, easily one of the most unique tracks i've heard throughout the whole jam. really glad i got around to this one. the juxtaposition of sparse, naturalistic elements & ambience against hyper-pop style autotuned vocals was so unexpected, and the mixing and panning really elevated those elements to a different levels. amazing piece
oh man the guitar on this one is lovely!! i could fully imagine everything you described. i like the musical concept of snapping out of a dream, though i wish the volume drop off wasn't so intense, as it feels a little awkward with even the lead guitar volume dropping.
overall though a really lovely piece, great job
i'm a composer & sound designer whose still in the beginning stages of just hoping to work with some passionate folks on any horror projects they have <3 happy to work with people who are also in early learning curves of their field. not necessarily looking for payment, unless the project is intended to have commercial value (revshare is fine.)
i have several years of compositional experience & am now in the process of learning fmod for sound implementation. i'd compare some of my work to the music of Silent Hill or Signalis-- if you'd like to check out any music i've made, i have a lot available on my soundcloud. thanks for reading!! <3

hi im a composer and would love to work on a lil horror gig with you :D i'm in the process of learning fmod so that i can help w/ sound implementation. i'm most inspired by OSTs like those from silent hill and signalis; if you're curious, you can listen to some of my stuff here!! https://soundcloud.com/scarletknife-570246388
thanks a bunch for readin <3
quite honestly your work in every single jam is so fucking good i will be so surprised if you aren't a fully established professional game/film composer in like 5 years. i just love the soundscapes you're able to create so much and i'm so inspired by & envious of the textural elements necessary to make pieces like this lol
wow!! it's such a treat to hear acoustic tracks like this--most of us tend towards digital/synthetic VSTs, so it's always a pleasant treat for the ears to hear a more lowkey acoustic track. it reminds me of a character setting out to leave home in the middle of the night; there's an undercurrent of sadness and hurt, but also this sense of hope/determination moving towards something they know they have to do?
not sure if any of that makes sense, but great track!! i love visualizing music to scenes in my head, so i always know it's a good sign if i start imagining scenes lol
woww this is such a cool concept. i love seeing that someone else incorporated VHS as a way of shifting worlds in their game lore :D
i am in love with the first half of desperation at the space station. i am a huge sucker for organ, and the sound of that droning organ with the guitar bends is so amazing, i almost wish the track stayed in that state for longer!! city streets is also such a jam. great job on building such cohesive worlds!!
funky me is easily one of the best, most listenable tracks i have heard in this whole jam!!! that piano and guitar coming together is so heavenly?? not sure if you've watched/listened, but it actually reminds me a lot of the jazz and funky elements from the jujutsu kaisen season 2 OST, especially this track. there's just so much energy and life in that first track, i love it so much
the funky silly nature of these, in addition to the percussion used, really reminds me of some of stardew valley's day themes which i love!! i love seeing people who also put a bunch of thought into the concept work behind their imagined games and respective OSTs. great, unified vision that rly shines through in the ost
wind and water is def very evocative of debussy and ravel!! especially that little out of key trill.
on gilded strands, I kept trying to place why that piano section at 1:10 sounded sooo familiar to me?? and then it hit me, it sounds eerily similar to this piano section from regina spektor's field below (link should open at 1:39). haven't thought of that song in years but suddenly your song brought me back to it.
as always, your piece is really unique and fantastic, an absolute joy to listen to, and definitely a top contender in creativity
ummm ok one of my favs of the whole jam so far!!! just so utterly listenable, forgot i was supposed to be in "judging" mode. takes so much creativity and boldness to make a song this long, and yet it doesnt feel long at all when listening to it. i absolutely love the crashing drums coming in at the end there, really fantastic job
easily one of the coolest concepts i've seen in the whole jam, and that concept art just makes it come alive even more. reminds me a lot of elden ring's themes.
trying to write slower tracks that still have a sense of tension and textural depth has been one of my biggest goals in songwriting, and it's so awesome to listen to yours and see you execute that concept PERFECTLY. you know when to let instruments breathe, when to phrase something, how to ease a motif in. no criticism, just a genuinely amazing soundtrack all around, and a game i would love to see come to reality some day
