Lovely pieces, though I felt the flute was a little too loud in both songs and the clarinet a bit too soft in "The Sea".
Thanks a lot for the feedback! Will pay more attention in the future with volumes
very well mixed, the two songs are very cohesive and that celeste is beautiful!
Thanksss! Most of the instruments are from BBC Discovery orchestra and it's free!
Both of these are so well produced. I think the instruments are repurposed so effectively in both songs to create the two opposing tones. It feels very polished and is super fitting for a game
Thanksss, spent quite some time trying to automate all of the instruments properly ahahah
Very pleasing mix, puts you right into the headspace for something like a JRPG :D.
That's totally the vibe I wanted to portray! So happy that you got it!
Very dreamy and nostalgic, I love it ! I like what you did with the orchestration, celeste and pizz are nice. One thing though, the flute might be to loud, but maybe it's just me ? Anyway, good job, I had a very good moment listenning to your tunes :D
Thanks a lot for telling me about the flute! I really couldn't decide the volume for that, unfortunately it's a bit too loud as you say
No worries, I often have the same problems on the mixing part, hard to decide when you've listened to your own track so many times xD It doesn't take away the beauty of your track though :D
I love the movement in the arpeggios in The Sky! The use of the celeste on The Sea is tasteful.
Thanks a ton!!
