Explain your hypothetical game concept & how you interpreted the theme!
The Seacolored Sky is a small arcade game about a clam that wants to escape the ocean and fly to the clouds. You have to swim around underwater obstacles and collect pearls along the way. Your goal is to reach the sky as fast as possible and then dodge hungry seabirds.

the horn at 1:38 comes in very sweetly. also very cute video game concept, to be a flying clam.... one can dream
I love this so much! It’s so calm and atmospheric, the polar opposite of what I’d expect from an arcade game’s soundtrack! I loved the Horn taking the melody, Horns don’t get the melody enough imo The Triangle too is pretty nice and adds quite a bit to the piece
The only thing I have to really critique is that there’s a little too much reverb in the clarinet compared to the horn(or not enough reverb on the horn I guess?), it feels a tiny bit out of place when the horn comes in. Otherwise, it’s fantastic!
Nice Job
Something about it being presented as an arcade game made me expect something a bit more energetic so I was surprised when I heard this serene atmospheric piece. The melody feels quite playful at times and it gives the whole piece a nice nostalgic feeling. I like it a lot!
Beautiful, calm melodies. The instrumentation was spot on. The triangles are a nice punctuation at 1:34. Main critique would be that the hand-off from the clarinet to the french horn at 1:19 was very abrupt; I would've preferred it if the clarinet had finished its phrase as the french horn comes in (maybe hold out a whole note and let it fade out?). Conversely, the sudden clarinet at 1:51 is a bit jarring, would've preferred it if the clarinet had come in pianissimo and crescendoed rather than play full volume straight away. Another thought I had was that you could've added some clarinet trills to add some additional flourish to the melody. That said, a really nice piece that I enjoyed quite a bit.
Hey, thank you for the constructive feedback, I highly appreciate it :)
Love it ! What a peacefull feeling, choice of instruments is great, really evokes the sea. Nice harmonies and melodic ideas, well written, good job ! Hope this little clam will reach it's destination :D I had a very nice time listening to your track, congrats !
What a graceful harp part! Love those arpeggios.
