Reincarnated as a Glock is an interactive webcomic about a girl who becomes a gun and has to work with a soldier in a post-apocalyptic world.
Type to advance the dialogue and kill enemies.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
While this game takes the literal approach of turning the protagonist into a weapon, it also emphasizes the player’s role by weaponizing their typing skills as the meta-narrative of a writer’s relationship with their story. The story further explores this theme by putting the player in situations where using “the weapon” has consequences.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This game was created in React and hosted on Vercel, so it may be browser-sensitive. If you run into issues, try playing on Chrome or directly on Vercel (link in description).

I really enjoyed the game! The art was very nice and the way the text mechanic integrates itself into the story and the visuals is top notch. Especially feeling like I was just thrust into the situation after being reincarnated, made me feel just like the character. A very novel and well executed concept. It did take me a few tries to get it to run properly in my browser though. Would love to see how this gets concept gets expanded upon
Really nice game, i had a few bugs here and there where the game wouldn't scroll further, but it fixed itself after a failed attempt. i'm not a fast writer- so i had my issues xD but thats a me problem, i really like the concept and i think it's a really cool game!
This was fun and silly! I enjoyed it quite a bit. I've never played a typing game before, but I find it helped create a fun sense of immersion in the story! I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to be typing at the very beginning, so to be honest I just started typing whatever I wanted, but I figured it out pretty quickly! I know it's cliche but I'm a sucker for these reincarnated as some random object stories, there's just always something fun and silly about them, and I think this captured that pretty well!
I figured with the minimal instruction that most players would be confused about how to play, so keyboard mashing is a totally reasonable way to start. I also have a soft spot for funny isekais/literature RPGs, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for checking it out :)
The first time I played a game like this, I really liked it. I was just sad that when I died the game stopped working and I lost my progress.
Oh no! I'll make a note of that. The combat system seems to be occasionally buggy, which is really unfortunate with it being so far into the story. I appreciate your time and feedback and hopefully, I'll get a chance to fix this soon.
Loved the artstyle and storyline. Wasn't entirely sure how to play but overall it was an enjoyable experience.
The instructions were quite minimal, so I definitely understand. I hope you were able to play after our conversation, but regardless, I appreciate your time to check it out!
I really like this take on the theme! You did a great job and I loved the typing mechanic. Great visuals, thanks so much for making this!
Thank you for your kind words!
So, interesting taken on the theme...
Was wondering if someone was going to go the isekai route and "i got transported into another world as a weapon and now bla bla bla", but here it is xD
Did run into an issue where failing and getting the game over screen caused me to have to reset the page to go again, as my input did not work anymore (used chrome).
Other than that, well executed, could be an interesting visual novel story game.
Definitely had a lot of fun playing around with the theme for this one. Thank you for the feedback! I’ll note the issue that you faced.
