The game can be played with both KBM and Gamepads, but for the best experience a gamepad is recommended.

Very cute platformer! On KBM it was a bit hard to make some of these jumps, but I know that's already feedback other people have given. I liked collecting the apples but it seemed like there wasn't much incentive for doing that other than for the sake of collecting itself. Maybe there should be a certain number of apples needed to unlocked new levels, or the apples could be a currency for some kind of upgrade shop?
I also ran into a bug. After I played the first two levels, I then clicked on the locked fourth level, which seems to have loaded it but the screen was totally black.
Overall cute idea and nice job!
Thanks for the feedback! The apples were added so the player has something to achieve apart from just finishing the levels, but we didn't have any other plans with it since we were already tight timewise. If we update the game, I'd definitely want to add some incentive to collect them.
Super cute platformer. I really liked the SFX and art. I loved that you got wood and grass sounds based on what material you were on! Reminded me of crash bandicoot. (maybe it's just the apples!) I think your character controller was a little "floaty" to play on, felt like I was skating through the levels. Which doesn't feel great for a platformer. But I got the hang of it after a while. I could see this getting fleshed out even more with more levels and adding in that attack mechanic ;) With the level speed could see a speed running community if you get the character controller feeling really solid!
The levels overall were a nice variety of challenges all kinda culminating in the 4th level. That's good design there, so well done on that!
Cute entry! I enjoyed it!
Art Style is really nice, but i felt like I wasn't doing too much attacking and instead spent the bulk of my time collecting apples. I only played the first 2 levels so it might be that comes later on?
The platforming aspects did feel nice to play though and the SFX and effects for collecting the apples were pretty satisfying.
Thank you! The attacking aspect was planned for later levels, but unfortunately we had to reduce the number of levels that were planned after we realized how much time it takes to design the levels (this was the first 3D platformer I made, so I didn't really have a good idea on the amount of time designing a level takes), and decided to focus on the platforming instead. You can even see the lion model that was supposed to be one of the enemies in the world map.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
Comic book opening was fantastic! I agree with landon that it can be hard to tell where you will land, I think it's because the yellow circle below you renders on the walls, not just the floors, so it would throw me off sometimes.
Fun platformer, sometimes hard to tell where you will land.
