- Love these shadow/light puzzles. Enjoy the challenge of 'collect em all' to 100% levels. Artwork isn't my personal cup of tea, but quite well done ignoring my personal preferences.

You control an aspiring alchemist, who can use a special potion to temporarily transform into a shadow beast.
When in shadow form, you can not interact with the physical world, but can pass through obstacles like gates and be unharmed by spikes. Be careful though, as you are vulnerable to light sources.
Change form between shadow and corporeal to solve puzzles, find secrets and navigate the rooms of the Order of Alchemists to obtain the tomes of hidden knowledge to further your studies.
There is some precise movement needed to get 100% completion
Keyboard
WASD -> Move
Space -> Jump
Shift -> Use a potion to transform into a shadow beast.
Delete -> Restart level (helps if you get stuck)
Controller
Left Analog Stick -> Move
Bottom Button (Xbox A, Sony Cross, Nintendo B) -> Jump
Right Bumper / Trigger (Xbox RT / RB, Sony R1 / R2, Nintendo Right Shoulder) -> Use a potion to transform into a shadow beast.
Top Button (Xbox Y, Sony Triangle, Nintendo X) -> Restart level

although its a really simple mechanic, it lends itself will to this game and works extremely well. i didn't fill up every level's potion or find even a single secret i think, but i still enjoyed it a lot and i think it's good that it allows for skilled players to have a harder goal they can complete. also congrats on getting controller support, i didnt figure it out in time for my game. my main critique is that dying or resetting does take kind of a while and it would feel better if that went faster, but it's really no big deal.
Finished all the levels, not all the secrets. nice little game! I think it might be better if you could see more of the level at one time so you can make plans from the start. Really good job! keep making games!
Nice little puzzle platformer! Some levels took me a few tries to figure out and was really creative.

Really Creative! i just gotta stuck in some levels and have to restart manually, going to main menu perhaps in those parts when we get stuck the game detects and Show the restart button, or just a restart Level option in the pause menu its nice too ! Greatj job <3
Yeah I think an onscreen prompt to remind of the restart level button (delete) is needed.

I quickly put the controls on screen and added a restart level button on the pause menu.
Hopefully thats enough to reduce confusion.
