  • Your game is quite easy to understand and plays well. I didn't encounter any bugs while playing. I was especially impressed by the animations that were made for the characters - they looked super clean and had personality to them. I think your game could be improved by doing some balancing and providing more challenging fights. It'd also be great to see some unique mechanics which makes your game stand out from similar ones in the genre. I also did not find any direct connection to the game jam theme. It was overall however a nice experience, good job.

Thank you so much for playing! It means a lot that you also tried it out for yourself after seeing someone else play it. Tactics game scratch that itch. I only wish we had time to make more levels and flex the game mechanics a bit more.

I can't wait to try out your game!

Animations were on point! That music was fantastic, kudos to the composer!

Two things that stood out to me that I wish it had, were damage numbers to see how much damage was being dealt vs received. The other thing was that it seemed like my counterattack was dealing way more damage than my normal attacks.

Great game! So many different ways to take it from here!

Thank you for playing! I'm really glad you enjoyed my music; I'm rather new to the composing scene! I look forward to trying out Wizard Fart!

Ameripon!!!! What's up, thank you so much for checking out our game. Your feedback is greatly appreciated! We had it in the plans to add damage delt numbers, but time was the enemy on that one. Interesting point about counterattacks being over-powered. I'll need to explore that.

Hey next time you're around, remind me to play Wizard Fart. I'll play it on stream, if ya like. I really need to do a Game Jam playing stream!

Straightforward and easy to play. The characters have interesting designs and are memorable.

LOVE the art style and the animations (even if some of them went missing). I enjoyed it! Good job guys!

Well done, the animations were really cool and the strategy, little simple easy to grasp. Kinda bugged a lot, at one point I summoned but nothing came out and it kept ending my turn. Overall good job, keep it up

Thank you for checking out our game! I'm sorry to hear that summoning wasn't working as expected. We learned a lot from this game jam, and chief among them is leaving more days for debugging and playtesting. I appreciate the encouragement, and I look forward to checking out The Good, The Bad and The Alchemist.

The battle animations on this are very nice, and I can definitely see the potential for more cool enemy and unit designs. I think overall the game was a bit easy, Maybe the enemies could be more aggressive, or maybe both the player and enemies have more units, so there's more tactics involved?

Love the color palette choice and the animations during the combat scenes are very cool!

Nice work, easy gameplay and the animations in the fighting scenes are great! A few SFX during these scenes would have been great and maybe a bit of lore /story. Character / Enemy Designs are very nice  ad well.

Thank you for playing our game and the kind words! I was so lucky to be part of such a talented team. Every time one of our artists posted new concept art or animation, I was floored! The biggest tragedy is that our sound designer, Romulus, actually created a huge library of original SFX for us that we simply didn't have time to add to the game. It's a shame! We plan on adding them in a post-game-jam update.

I'm looking forward to trying out Midnight Spirits soon!

Cool! The animations are top. Can’t help but notice that GDQuest played a role in learning Godot, love to see that!

The TankBug is busted though :D
