- Simple but fun game. Interesting take on the theme, but would love to see more incorporation of the alchemy aspect. I do understand your take, but it is a bit of a stretch. Gameplay is fun and engaging.
- Game mechanics seems really interesting with time management. Although the game play needs a bit balancing it felt a bit too difficult at the beginning and took some time to get use to it. The shadow part in the theme was very well implemented, but alchemy was a bit lacking. Overall great job on the game.

I had fun, but I must have been doing something wrong because my life keeps ticking down and I can't see anything that brings it back up?
thanks dude! to get health, you have to collect bug bodies and feed it to the flower, which will make life-replenishing seeds for you to eat. the game is very imbalanced so it's still hard to stay alive, but there ya go!
I had my volume a bit too high, duck gave me a heart attack.
That was fun! Very challenging, but simple and fluid to just keep trying again. The theme interpretation may be a bit ‘abstract’, but I see it. Great job!

It's a fun little arcade shooter.
I'm not really sure how it fits into the themes of alchemy or shadows? There's also not much reason to leave the bottom floor and allow the enemies to come to you, there needs to be something that motivates the player to move from the bottom.

The "shadows" part is interpreted through the hatch that lets in the sunlight. In the shadows, the flower dies quicker, while the sunlight heals it. However, I didn't have time to balance the game/incentivize the player in a way that makes them have to shut and open the hatch - in its current state, the hatch can just be let open, so that was a bit of a dud.
As far as motivating players to traverse around - you're on point with that one as well. I wanted the seeds to shoot out and land on platforms all around the map so as to motivate vertical movement - but again, just didn't make time for that.
Learnt some good lessons, though. Thanks again for playing!
