- Great work! Worked flawlessly, took a few attempts to understand what your implementation was after reading it and I think that's the intent. Great play with the theme. Good job on art and clearly showing differences. I would suggest looking into colorblind planning in the future (more clearly showing different shapes/aspects of ghosts) but that's just a minor note on top of a well executed project.

The lore :
On one of his trips through the catacombs, a necromancer got hit by bad luck. A cursed tomb turned him back into a baby. Curing the curse is easy, but the recipe is still in his tent at the surface.
Now he is stuck at the bottom of the catacombs, trying to climb his way out.
Using the essence of the ghosts that dwell down here you combine them to unearth new powers. That should be more than enough to compensate for your weak new form.
Experiment with the elements, discover the possibilities.

You have to use your noggin and get cooking for this one! Lovely puzzles, beautiful art, perfectly grotesque babyman! Great concept and a clever take on the theme! Good soup!
Thank you. We are most proud of how we combined the two themes into one mechanic, so thanks for the compliment!
I was a bit confused when trying to start, possibly introducing the 3 ingredient ghosts slower would help new players understand their functions.
Thanks for playingg, maybe the basic ones could be explained in the beginning. But later on I love the idea of experimenting and finding out yourself.
Unfortunately, I couldn't figure my way around one of the levels. However, the concept was great and I had a blast. A very cool idea that has a lot to it with a simple mechanic!
Thank you. Yeah, difficulty is sometimes hard to set, especially when made by yourself as everything looks straightforward.
The idea and mechanics of this games are great. I liked a lot and it have a lot of cool mechanics that can be explored. I would love to see more combinations (maybe more ghost ingredients or combine 3 types of ghosts). Congrats, amazing game!
Thanks a lot. We were planning for the full game to have many layers in ghosts, with a branching way like infinitecraft.
Interesting concept! Game looks great too.
It felt very hard, I think I'm really bad at this as I started needing ~15 ghosts every level after the first 3-4 levels ^^'.
Would just add some QoL features : allow jumping a bit after leaving a platform (Coyote time), more "tolerant" hitboxes for collision, etc... but apart from that, loved it
Thanks for the comment and playing the game! Yeah next time we will try to stop pumping in more ideas and also look into more QoL improvements before the deadline comes haha
The graphics and the gameplay ideas are really nice. I think you can improve the player experience with a better tutorial other than the book. It took me a while to figure out how the upgrades worked. I loved that the player's sprite changes based on what ghost is currently being used. Good job! keep making games!
Thank you, Yeah some text on the first level would have helped the player a lot.
Interesting platformer! I'd love to see it fully ironed out, good job!
Thanks for playing the game, stay tuned for more!
Clever game that may look like a simple platform game, but is much more than that. You definitely have to use your brain and challenge yourself to discover new ways of finishing the different levels. Well done!
Thank you, we tried to make the game playable in many different ways!
