  • While the art style for practically everything in this game is wonderfully done, the controls are easy to follow and there feels to be a bit of a challenge dealing with enemies while sticking to the shadows, it also feels a bit too quick getting defeated by both the sunlight and enemies while moving around so much. My assumption is that this is on purpose, so it may be a skill issue on my end. Along with that, my experience led me to not really be able to use the various created potions against any of the enemies; while throwing them was straightforward enough of an action, there didn't seem to be any actual result when they got to their target, so I'm not sure if I was just missing something there as well. Overall, I do think that the way the themes were used were done in a way that made this interesting to play; with traversing between shadows and using elements together to create new/different things. Keep up the good work, all the same!

Loved this! Really great art and fun gameplay, the potions all felt fun and unique! Some more damage feedback (both taking and dealing) might be a nice idea for the future but genuinely amazing work for the scope of a game jam!

I loved the art style and the engaging gameplay mechanics! Experimenting with different potion combinations is a lot of fun. The game feels very polished. Fantastic work! It would be interesting to see levels with limited ingredients or enemies that erase shadows .

Great work!

Game looks really good and plays very smoothly.

I think some visual feedback when you hit an enemy would be really nice. I’d also like if there was some sort of objective, at the very least an arrow that points at the closes enemy.

I feel like potions, at least some of them, should break and trigger on collision with enemies, because it’s quite hard to aim at enemies that are moving.

There are a lot of cool potion effects, but I think “fire-fire-fire” outperforms them all just because of the damage it deals. Well, maybe the one that spawns a shooting dude is better because enemies have no way of dealing with it and just stand there.

I love this little game. I just wished it would be compatible with azerty keyboards. Bu seeing the animations, and the art and  the polish of this game, it's incredible! Really nice submission man!

Thank you very much! I should really make a control rebinding system for future jams; maybe changing the keyboard layout temporarily can be a workaround

I loved the movement and basic controls, also how it fits the theme. The art is stellar. Could use some music.
