- it's extremely satisfying to get everything set up right as the game progresses. It was incredibly tense throughout, with well-balanced progression! the GDD is very well-detailed and design. I like that the art has a gargantuan amount of detail, and the choice of a limited color palette really makes everything stand out. Overall, great start to a game, and a great GDD overall! Wonderful work!

Summarise your game!
Space Core is a prototype of a tower defense strategy game in which you play as a soldier with the mission to build mega turrets around a supermassive neutron star and defend it from an approaching asteroid belt attracted by gravity, hold on until your teammates extract the energy from the core. There are 3 types of turrets with different attributes, evolutions and upgrades. The asteroids are generated in random waves with rules and exponentially, no two games will be the same. It also has a small narrative story of your commander talking to you.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The concept of placing weapons around a core behaves as if the entire base is a single weapon in itself that you build in parts. It heavily depends on how the weapons are positioned around the core, each one has a specific role that complements the other, creating strategy along with the upgrades and evolutions of the weapons.

This game is really awesome. Cool TD. I really liked the different turrets. I could play without the blaster, but on another playthrough I put all the blasters along the outside perimeter and that's when they actual felt like they shined which was cool. I liked the over theme and setting. Really nice artwork, music and sfx. I'd keep expanding this :)

Im not a huge TD guy but I only sniper turrets to the end and was very entertained! I think the theme is a kind of a stretch but very polished product you finished with.
Hi, could you tell me how to start the wave, i couldn't figure it out. The title screen and beginning of the game look pretty fancy. We get a lot of money to build a lot of stuff to start out. I'd probably suggest starting with fewer dollars so the player isn't overwhelmed. Looks like a lot of work went into it! Nice job!
Hi, the wave starts when you build the first turret, the order of construction for the first turret:
Platform -> Base Turret -> Turret.V1 (rifle, blaster or sniper).

Excellent graphics and a great, simple UI that would work well across PC, console and mobile. I do not have too much feedback other than the progress felt a little too slow. I believe shorter and faster waves and receiving a larger amount of money per asteroid type could help it out.

Nice game, I liked it , I went all in with the snipers as you can see. I think you could expand the game into a leaderboard/ score system

The neutron star looks pretty good! It’s what made me click this game. It seems pretty polished, but I do wish the UI would get some more love! Also, I’m not sure how much of “You are the weapon” this is, it does feel like just a tower defense game, without the element of the enemies following a path towards your base.
Overall, I like it! You managed to touch on many interesting elements.
I abstracted the idea of “You are the gun” because I didn't want to do the first thing that comes to mind of literally being a gun that shoots, so I thought of a game concept that would give the feeling of “You are the weapon”. I thought that when you build the base around the core it would give the feeling that you were building a single weapon as a whole, I tried to make each turret serve a specific function, short, medium and long range and you would have to place them in a way that left no open flanks for the whole weapon to be effective, so it's not the typical tower defense where you place the weapons in a path. The UI is a quick placeholder for the prototype, when I continue developing the game I'm going to rework it. Thanks for the feedback!

Fun game, I like the progression system and the art style. I see potential for a prestige or other system to allow for more upgrades or tech tree points for tower modifications and whatnot. Well done!
