One of my favorites, however it's very easy to cheese by spamming, cause the tattoo gun hitbox goes offscreen of the skin hitbox. Very good game, 5/5 stars in rating :)

I'm usually not that intrigued by flappy bird-esque games, but using cute stories & the tattoo results page, you created a truly engaging experience. Great job!

Host

The writing is super engaging and cute so it really makes you want to do well in the tattooing scenes. Amazing how its just the flappy bird mechanic inverted but it feels so fresh, especially love the way the tattooing looks and the visualision of droplets of ink. Such a great entry ✨

Developer(+1)

We are very pleased to hear that you liked it! Thanks for diving into our game and thanks for organizing this gamejam <3

Very good entry ! I love the writing and the art, kinda reminds me of The Red Strings Club in a way, very wholesome ! I was uncomfortable with butchering the client but I think it's just because I'm a bad player x) The music is really cool too !

Developer

I have good news - you can rest assured! Feeling uncomfortable butchering a tattoo job is a generally a good sign ;)

Thanks for playing!

That's was quite a nice little game,I liked the small twist of a well familiar mechanic, reminded me of jetpack joyride or geometry dash. The story wrapped everything up giving me some sort of emotional attachment , very nice job.

Developer

Interesting you mentioned geometry dash. We were thinking about synchronizing the game more with the music. Something that could be explored in future endeavors. Thanks for playing!

Good game! As others mentioned, the highlight for me was reading every character's story. It made me care about them, and I found myself restarting every to make them like their tattoo

Developer

Thanks a lot for trying the game and for your feedback! We appreciate <3

OH MY this first man is loyaltiest friend ever XD (I'm a terrible tattoo master) Art is nice, gameplay is fun :ъ

Developer(+1)

There are many ways for adding unforgettable memories to someone's life. A bad tattoo is one of them ;-P

Thanks for playing our game!

This was genuinely so good omg. I loved the dialogue. Even though the gameplay took a second to figure out, I cared about each customer enough that I had to restart to give them each a good result. Amazing job!

Developer

Awesome to hear that the game has some re-playing potential. Thanks a lot of trying it!

I really enjoyed playing this game! :) Ralf seemed like a genuinely nice guy, and I felt awful about accidentally moving on to the next customer without fixing my terrible butterfly job! :(

Developer

We are truely happy to hear that the ingame characters connect so well to the player!

Thanks for playing :)

I personally really loved the writing! Good stuff. As someone already mentioned, the hitbox could have been clearer but other than that this is my favourite submission so far <3

Developer

Glad to hear so many people did enjoy the actual story. The game itself might very well be exchangeable then.

Thanks a lot for trying it out!

Fun and interesting spin on the flappy bird. It took a good minute to understand what to do, so the butterfly got decimated :D

Developer(+1)

Hehe, I see - the game really needs some mini-heads-up or tutorial. But thanks for taking your time and trying it out, we greatly appreciate!

Nice and relaxing game. I wish the hitbox for the end of the needle was a little bit more clear. Overall, great experience!

Developer(+1)

Yes, we stumbled over the hitbox ourselves quite some time. In the end the time run away - as usual^^

Thanks a lot for playing!

Loved the style and content of the dialogue sections - remembered how much I hate needles and blood during the flappy bird bits, kept going 'uuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh' but i loved the dialogue so much I perservered through a couple of the actual gameplay sections.

Great stuff, I wish I was less of a cowards so I could see the rest of the chats

Developer

It took great courage to try it at all, thanks for that! It was interesting to get into the topic tattooing, especially since I literally have no connection points to this topic (yet).

nice game. a little tutorial before gameplay would be kind. at first i butchered the poor truck driver :D
Also Linda is really hard, couldn't get it right at her.
How manny were i missing?
Love your art. very talented!

Developer

Absolutely agree that it is a bit hard to get started. Someone also commented that "jumping" is usually the other way round - yes it is :D

Thanks for playing!

Ralf is such a poet, it'd be nice to have him as a friend...

I then immediately proceed to absolutely butcher his tattoo.

Developer(+1)

Luckily Ralf is more of the forgiving type. Thanks for trying the game!
