I love how this game has a wrapper and helps to make this game feel like it's a full experience. I also appreciate that the cover of the game looks great. I love that the intro animation is kinda a jump scare as well and really adds to the halloween nature of the game.

This game looks really great as a Vampire survivor clone. I wish that the candy was easier to collect.

For the aiming I wish that there was a reticle to know roughly where you are aiming.

I understand that the candy probably needs to disappear for performance reasons but it would be nice if you were able to combine the candy into one larger candy that doesn't disappear which is what I believe vampire survivors does.

For the menu, I wish that there was a restart run or something similar. Especially if there isn't the weapons that you want.

I wish that there was at least some form of tutorial or "How to Play" This could be added to the menu screen and just has the basic controls.

Overall this game feels like it could be a fully polished game for the playdate! There are definently some things that could be changed along with some balance, but overall this is a really strong start to something that could become a full game!

Very nice game, in the style of Vampire Survivors, one of the few bullet hell games on Playdate—a truly successful result. Very smooth; I didn't experience any frame drops. I would have preferred a longer time to collect candy drops, which I often can't get due to the presence of enemies on screen.  I would also like to know the values that change the power-ups because I haven't noticed any differences with some of them.

Such a great polished game, well done team! I wish the dropped candy didn't expire quite so fast, it's quite hard to get to without doing a suicide run through the enemies.

This easily belongs up on Catalog! Feels very polished and fun to control, I love all the upgrades. Great game!

I have been playing this so much the theme is stuck in my head. I'm super impressed with the amount and variety of weapons and modifiers, the gameplay loop is really fun and I'm kind of stunned at how smoothly it plays with so much on the screen built so quickly.

genuine jumpscare opening this game up for the first time LMAO

i am STUNNED at this one. runs really well considering all the moving items and enemies, has a ton of weapons and strategy (and really funny candy puns). i like that the candy drops inevitably force you to enter the direct line of danger just to try and reap your own rewards. i could totally see this in the catalog (do it!!); the fact it was made in just a handful of days is absolutely insane

Impressive! The little walking people are really cute.

Though I personally don’t see the need to feature guns, I will say I really enjoyed the other items.
