I enjoyed the unique platformer movement!

I liked the sfx and visuals a lot! The ground does feel a bit too sticky in my opinion, if that makes sense though. Maybe significantly lower ground friction while the player is shooting?

Developer

thank you! Yeah, a lower friction while shooting could make the game flow better, thank you for the suggestion!

Great game

Great game right there. Loving the aesthetic and sound design. Maybe consider checking out our game as well?

single mechanic, done really well, feels good to do the recoil boost.

the lack of checkpoints is BRUTAL though, I would highly suggest at least keeping the upgrades if you die after getting a heat increase.

AI music is very fitting, gun sounds are good - not overpowering, not weak.

Thank you! It's brutal indeed. I actually thought about keeping the upgrade after death, but I decided not to do it, because I saw it more as a "little help" for the second part, and wasn't really necessary in the first part. The heat increase and the stronger recoil (that i didn't indicate that you get it in the game) really helps when trying to slow down during a fall. But I totally get your point, and maybe it would be a better design.

I definitely would not call it better, it’s different… you made a more potentially ragey game for a specific type of player by not doing that.

if that’s your intention that’s great and no reason to change it

in the end a lot about a game is the emotion we are trying to make people feel when they play it

your take causes potentially more rage but infinitely more accomplishment than if there were checkpoints

This game is so fun!

Developer

thank you!

Hey nice idea, but it`s hard to progress it time as you gain skill. You should basically memorize the level and that's it. But I would think about making a v2 of the game. Has some potential for mobile market.

Cool mechanics!

Good use of the overheat theme, the game itself was nice but I found it a bit hard.

Developer

Thank you! And sorry about that hahah, I was trying to make it hard, but maybe I overdid it
