Title
Infinite maze
Description
Submission For Redline's Monthly Composing Challenge #4.
This was supposed to follow the picture theme from the jam which was an infinite maze.
Tried to make something jazzy and unique that does not follow typical western tonality.
This was made solely with MuseScore 4.

Probably my favorite entry. Captures and evokes the theme and setting, builds on an interesting and memorable motif, enough texture and dynamics in the mix.
Thank you very much! I was kind of scared people wouldn't like it because of the dissonance so I tried to make a catchy motif to balance it out. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Super interesting orchestration. There's an early jazz vibe. I hear Gershwin inspirations with a symphonic jazz that you can also hear in some old movies.
It's very beautiful and I don't know if you'd be willing to share your musescore file because I'd love to understand how you achieved this result.
Bravo again, I hope you'll be there for the next challenges.
Thank you very much! I just put the MuseScore file on the project page although I should let you know just in case its different for you that the trill used in the score glitched for me and had an accelerando effect on it with it gradually speeding up which was not intended lol. I'll definitely be here for future challenges with hopefully something better.
I feel like out of every song submitted, this one feels the most like a maze.
Oh wow really? Thank you very much! Sadly there's no rating category for how well it fits the maze theme lol.
Reminds me of movie scores from the mid 1900s, really interesting.
Thank you! I was somewhat trying to emulate 20th century music, so I'm happy to hear that it sounds like it.
I love the harpeggios. Very mysterious, and the wandering nature of the instruments encompasses the maze theme nicely. Great work!
Thank you! Thats the vibe I was going for.
