The idea behind this is just so cool. Racing and having the breaks between for the story and adventure style gameplay is very cool. Also, racing in general is awesome. Drifting is satisfying.
It's kinda crazy how intuitive the controls felt after only a few minutes of playing. I'm not going to lie - I played the DSD level soooo many times just to beat him. There was a real sense of tension as I felt my racer falling to pieces as I blasted my way to the finish line.. and then the massive sense of relief when I finally made it. Well, anyway, what I'm saying is that I really enjoyed your game!
So glad you had such a good time! Fine tuning the ship controls & parameters took a lot of time, but we eventually settled on what we thought was the easiest to grasp.

I tried but not sure if it worked. My best time is 3:28 in the final course. Not the fastest, I know, but I had a blast!
So good! The racing controls feel so rewarding. As just a stand alone racing game it'd be a treat to play, but adding in all of the side stories, upgrades and character interactions too is just amazing. Bonus points for actual blanket Jebb too!

Very impressive game! Cool idea interspersing the race segments with little story/adventure segments. Big F-Zero GX vibes (in that it's a cool futuristic racing game and that I'm too bad to beat the story lol). I got close though! Maybe I'll try easy mode nexttime.
Thanks! We worked hard on both sections. The racing has a decent amount of depth to it, so maybe practice in the Track Select a bit before trying again. I'm actually somewhat relieved to know there are players seeing the other endings/dialogue I wrote haha.
We've uploaded a small update that fixes the sabotage not working sometimes and some checkpoint issues in easy mode.
As a huge fan of F-Zero, this scratched a great itch. Very fun!
I’m getting F-Zero flashbacks playing this. Some of those races had me sweating. Amazing work on this!
