Is this our first gliding game? Either way, crazy ambitious game! I loved the meta aspects, and the world's last act transformation was pretty sweet. At first I was worried I crashed the game after I did the deed *wink*. Kudos to the whole Quiet Men team!

This is the sort of game I dream about making! Looooooved the vibes on this one. The music and visuals mesh so well together, it creates such a unique experience. And congrats on closing out the show, too! It was definitely a fantastic way to wrap up the jam.
Oh, question: is there a way to open the door in the basement?
I like escape rooms, and this is actually the first escape room video game I've played... and it's great! The hip upgrade was such a surprise and I was super excited to use it (I bolted to the air ducts). Your team did a really good job assembling a succinct escape room that could be beaten in a short period of time but also still feel rewarding and full. By the way, was there to be a puzzle with the pool table?
Oo that arcade music is good! Kind of ironic that being my favorite tune in the game when it took me foreeever to find the second hidden mascot! The switch in gameplay for the latter half was pretty cool and unexpected. Oh, and I liked your incorporation (or lack thereof?) of DSD. One last compliment: great sprite work!
Hey, I really liked the look and feel of this game! The presentation is just really, really appealing. The combat section has a ton of potential, and it's got that retro crunch that feels soooo good. Reading through the other comment, it looked like you planned more for this game. Would have been nice to see everything you had planned, but oh well. This was still a fun experience!
I did encounter a little glitch that prevented me playing with a controller. The camera kept spinning around the character. I tried unplugging/replugging, or waiting for the game to start before plugging in, and a few other things, but couldn't figure it out. I ended up playing with mouse and keyboard, which didn't diminish the experience at all. (It was a PS4 controller, if that helps!)
I scoured every wall for every secret, but I know I missed a few!
Fun game! Really liked how the levels felt streamlined, since I tend to get lost easily! The art was fantastic, and I loved how you integrated the food as weapons. Those drumsticks were my weapon of choice, saving the chili dogs for the bosses.
First off, I found one bug! On the menu the Settings menu won't go away after you select it. Otherwise...
Wild game! And challenging! Thankfully it was balanced enough that I was still able to win despite the several times I careened off the edge of the map! That was still enough to keep me engaged and tense throughout the entire prix. Kudos to the entire team, because this game's got VIBES. The designs, sound, music, art are just all phenomenal, and I loved the variations in all the tracks. After some time you're going to have to share all the endings! (Maybe in the post mortem??)
You watched me play this on stream, so you already heard my praises... but too bad! I'm going to heap on more praise! This is just such a fun designed game and so fun to play. The gameplay mechanic is just so naturally enjoyable it's amazing how you can get so much joy out of using so few controller inputs... you know, after you tricked me at the start thinking there would be more. Art, writing, and voice acting also top notch!
Hey even though this game wasn't complete, I still had a blast playing it! It's a shame those dinos are so cute, 'cause I gotta bash their faces in. I loved the art, designs, and especially the animation. Shades of Mario 64 with those punches! Using Glerry's design as a straw to inform the compression-to-jump move was an inspired choice! Nice work!
Hey! I recognize the guy who voiced Steve!
That was a weird, crazy game! As always, amazing presentation and fantastic music. It took me a little while (relatively speaking) to pick up on the game's elements but once I got it I was smoking boomers and millennials left and right (literally). I did run into a bug in which the Pitmaster spawned at the same time as Taxxie, but all that meant was I had to take down Pitmaster twice and getting rewarded with seeing his cutscene twice. Also, the ending was perfect. Great job this year!!
Playing this game is like an interactive art exhibit. Or rather it's like the feeling of sneaking through abandoned buildings, subways, or houses, and being so overwhelmed by the sense of mystery and underlying melancholy that it's beautiful in its own way. Or maybe not, I don't know lol all I know was that I was absolutely puzzled from beginning to end, but my brain lit up at every innocuous (and sometimes devious) detail. When I found out touching the paint cans changed my painting color I felt like I had uncovered some ancient, forbidden clue.. and yet I still found myself no closer to fully understanding what I was experiencing. It's that enigma and atmosphere that kept me glued to this.
I'm glad you teamed up with Blepasaur on this, too. His tunes just made your worlds seem that much more ethereal. Thanks so much for this experience.
I have to agree with everyone else that this game needs a sprint toggle because for a long game it can get really painful for me. Some type of special mouse cursor icon to indicate where you're aiming would have been helpful to me. It's so easy to just not see a normal mouse cursor in the middle of battle. That aside this was such a wonderful entry! The music and art just worked so well together. Charming to the max! And, I'm not sure how many endings there are, but the one I got was really sweet. I'm glad I finally got to meet Kevin, too.
I played this in a pitch black room at night and it just made everything feel that much more immersive. I really dig this game's mechanic and how you presented it visually. The unseen beast lurking on the other side of the wall was such an inspired choice. Also, the fact that Seraphina shakes her head when you use her power is a nice detail. Great work as usual!
No spoilers but there was a certain moment in this game in which I was shocked and delighted. Really great job, from the mechanics to the cutscenes! I *was* hoping there was a secret for destroying all the pots, but the DSD ending makes up for it. Also, poor Big George. That little guy had so much heart.
Your game had me yelling at these little guys trying their hardest to catch up to pop fly.. just like the real thing, baby! I'm glad someone made a sports game, it must have taken a lot of work getting that AI to function. One little bug I ran into was that after I beat the game I tried to paly it again but it loaded the final cutscene instead. Not a big deal to have to close the game and reopen it, but I thought you should know!
I was tickled when I found out that my jumping was making the guitar play. It's a really nice touch that plays into the game's chilled out vibes. I really liked the progression and additions of skills, although the last puzzle had me stumped for a while! (I got it eventually.) I also thought the surrounding metanarrative was a fun choice. Great job all around!
