I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!
What I liked
The platforming gameplay is actually pretty decent. It's simple, but isn't broken or irritating.
The level is challenging, but not impossible. It's a good level of challenging.
What I didn't like
The music was funny at first but really started grating on me after my second try.
Did I think it was so bad it was good?
Kinda, I guess. It's not the strongest entry I've seen so far but it definitely has that sort of feel to it.
My thoughts on the modifier implementation
Is it impossible because it just keeps repeating? It's alright, but not really my thing.
Other remarks
I don't recall what my second game was. It was a long time ago and I started a lot of projects without finishing them. I can say with reasonable certainty that it was far worse than this.
Between the graphics, the guy in the background, and the music, the whole game kind of feels like a joke I didn't get.
Verdict
It was bad, but also goodbad. And for a second game it's not bad at all.
