If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
Because the modifier was "all modifiers combined", we tried to use many modifiers in one game. The list is in the description.

I loved the art and music. And the story and overall atmosphere. My only problem was that I found it hard to hit the skulls without getting hurt. But the soda made up for that. Overall, this game was awesome.

I liked this one, it was silly, got to the point quickly, and was short but sweet!

First of all I loved the UI, it has obtrusive 90's FPS feel like System Shock or Marathon.

The sprites were nice, though perhaps a bit too nice and stylized for this jam. I liked how the skull eyes turned red when detecting the player, and for some reason the games colour scheme and animations especially on the final boss reminded me out the old Lucas Arts Outlaws FPS.

The attack felt a bit unsatisfying, though having made a number of games for this jam with awkward combat I'm not gonna hold that against it too much. The real issue I had with it is that it felt impossible to get a hit in without being hit yourself, and while this could easily be healed with the spooky soda, it typically meant I just had to stand around drinking for a while. So the combat loop didn't really feel all that engaging.

But aside from that, this was some great spooky SBIG stuff! Good work!

This was a rather nice game, and didn’t overstay its welcome.

The attack did feel a bit unsatisfying to use (wasn’t sure when the attack hitbox was actually active, or how far out the hitbox was, which meant that I pretty much always took damage when attempting to briefcase the skulls), but the plentify supply of SPOOKY SODA did help with this (albeit at the cost of minimizing the challenge posed by the game).

The UI aesthetic was rather interesting to behold, and I also liked the ‘billboarded 2d sprites in a 3d world’ visual design of the game.

Overall, this was some quality SBIG content.

I loved this so much!  Very spoopy game. If flaming skulls don't make you scared, then surely talk of paying taxes will!

I  think it was a really good and creative take on the modifier. Being able to select some and piece them together into a zany storyline works really well I think, and it told a fun narrative!

I guess the only thing I would say is try not to map L-click to both Skip Text and hit. After defeating the boss I found myself accidentally skipping the ending text, and having to play through again to see it 😅

Otherwise this was a very fun little experience and I'm glad I  tried it! Thanks for submitting!

Great graphics, love the skull and dude design! Definitely set an ambience. Wasn't able to quite get down the timing to hit the skulls. Leaning more on good than bad, but I see what you guys tried to do with the glitchy animations and SFX. Very cool falling moment, enjoyed the drop!
