Cool different game, nice idea. The wolf is goddamn fast! It ate many of my sheep :( Nice job with ths game.
I really enjoyed it! It was one of the only games where dodging didn't mean the player. I think there are too many wolves and it's hard to know where they are. I usually just stick to turning in the animals I'm currently rounding up instead. They also move very fast. I feel like you can expand on the animals used and maybe even add in a shepherd dog to make the sheep move faster or something too. Great work!
Nice arcade. I liked it. There is a big field for growing.
Really unique interpretation of the theme, I liked it. The wolves travelled wayyy too fast and I couldn't tell where they were coming from, but it's a fun game.
If you do keep working on it, I would suggest possibly making the wolves start spawning and progressively spawn faster as the sun sets, that would make the game tougher as it's being played, while also making sense of how wolves hunt when its dark.
The game was good overall, and I liked it!! The only problem I had was with the stubborn little sheep :(
Good concept. Sounds are spot on. Only thing is, I was not sure what the strategy of the game should be. Whether to stock the animals in thir own houses/sheds or kill the wolves. If it was intentional and part of the game design, I like it. But I felt there could have been a little more dodging, rather than chasing the wolf. They were outside the screen and I could never find them in time. so it became very hectic to protect the animals (dodge them from the wolves)
Maybe you could to add some ui indicators for wolves pointing them, would be more interesting to play.
May you rate my game too?
Good job!!
fun concept! I felt like the wolves were way too fast. I just ended up ignoring them most of the time
Thanks for the feedback!
Fun game, I like the idea! I felt like a bit of tweaking could have made this better, I’d decrease the distance to the animals to push them as it was a bit hard to get them in the right direction. I like the music and sound, it’s very fitting of the gameplay. The art is cute and fits well for the game. My last suggestion would be to change the way that some of the animals interact with the player, as it seems that there are only 3 unique mechanics (cow/sheep, chicken, pig), with 2 being similar (cow/sheep and pig). I could see this expanded upon to include various behaviours for the animals (maybe the sheep like to stay together), and including more tools to help herding would be interesting. Overall fun game, and good entry!
Thanks for the feedback! I was actually going to make the sheep behave like boids (basically the follow thing you mentioned) but I messed it up and had to axe it to finish the game.
