Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to control it. Could it be some kind of problem with the web version on the desktop?

Developer

Hi  Out1oud! Did you try to use to the keyboard arrows ? Maybe the issue is with the browser... what browser did you try?

Submitted(+1)

Oh! right - arrows worked out, Thanks! I'm using Chrome

Developer

Great! I was worried. :D

Enjoyed playing the game. Nice and fun game.

Developer

Hi there, thanks for trying! Cheers

I like the idea of the game! quite fun to play. The controls feel a bit imprecise, but it's a decent game!

Developer

Hey GenericParadox! Happy to hear your comment! I am curious: in what aspect did you feel the controls imprcise? Some guys are complaining the "continue" button thar requires the mouse click. Was it that or was the player movements? Thanks for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

The player movement. It feels like with just a tiny tap the player zooms quite a bit.  And with the pixel perfect hitboxes it can be a bit daunting just clipping a corner and having the player just stop all of a sudden. Personally I don't mind the mouse input for buttons. Maybe even just decreasing the player speed a bit could work out well? Just a thought. And no worries, happy to be of help.

Developer

I got it! I'm going to review those points. Good feedback, thanks

That's exciting you plan on making a mobile game out of this.

To me the good is that its simple and effective. The art is perfect. You could hand craft tons of levels fairly quickly. Its easy to imagine adding new enemies and challenges to it as well.

My feedback would be, controls might be hard to do on mobile. You might need to change up the paradigm a bit there. If you plan on having it track the finger that might end up being too easy giving how the game is currently structured.

Developer

Hello Ramen! Yes, you brought me an important point: how to control on mobile devices... I will think about. Thanks

Good luck!

Really fun game! There are a few levels where it can instantly kill you and they are almost impossible to beat since you have to move your hand to the mouse and back to the arrows. You should change the RESTART button to ENTER/RETURN please

Developer

Hi ObraDev, thanks for trying and give me your feedback. You are sure completely, that RESTART button must to have replaced!

Submitted(+1)

really nice game! i think it can welcome some new features in the future like new types of ennemy, bonus and malus

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your comment, misterius! :D I confess that my mind is blowing up with ideas like these, thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Submitted(+1)

Simple but effective :) Maybe forcing the player to stay in the arena would make the game more challenging, because at the moment you can just leave to circle around the whole level.

Developer

Yeah! The first room has no limits on screen but there are walls around on some rooms to get harder. Thanks for trying and sending your feedback! :D

Simple premise that could become really great with some design iteration and refinement. The movement was a little too fast, making it hard to get into some of the tighter areas. And the need to click continue, before going back to the keyboard resulted in a few unnecessary deaths. But overall, very fun!

Developer

Hello HonigGames! Happy to hear this! I am planning the next versions and will include better draws, design iteration among other elements in the world. Thanks for trying and sending me your feedback.

Fun and smooth game, and has a good base to build up into a great casual game.  Congrats on your first game jam. I have a suggestion for quality-of-life feature is pressing spacebar to continue instead of using your mouse.

Developer

Hi Tempetus, thank you for trying the game and for let me your feedback! I am with you, my daughter had a similar reaction when I ask her to try. Let's remove that button!

I find the bull to be a simple yet effective enemy to add a lot of difficulty to the game. If you were to add more content, like more movement options to the player or adding different types of obstacles, it would definitely make the game more fun and addictive. Great job for your first game jam! (You've done a better job than I had when I first started XD)

Developer

Hey Gyester2736! Nice to read your comment. Definitely I gonna keep working on and I am thinking about some new obstacles and movements. Thanks!

Seems like a good base, think it could do with some interactions with the environment and different ways to manipulate the enemies.  Also seemed to come across some bugs where the level would move onto the next one instead of restart

Developer

Hi Copacal!

I appreciate your words, they are uselful and motivating for me.

This is my first game jam and second game. As you told, it is a base and there are some ideas to work on.

For now, we have 9 rooms. When you finish a room the enemy get a little faster. Winning or losing we are moving to the next room because I felt it was boring restart always to the same sequence.

Even so, could you share a bit more what do you think about the interactions and the levels progress?

Thanks again!
