Good game! The gameplay was quite fun... and idea is cool
Is a decent stealth platfotmer, did have a bit of trouble figuring out what the overall goal was and how the energy mechanic with the collectibles worked
Some ideas to improve:
Dash sould be put on mouse click since I already need mouse to aim dash direction.
When I fist got to the light switch I didn't know what to do. Would be cool if when I'm near object that I can interact with a bouble with interaction key would pop up next to me or somewhere on the screen. Thats how most other games do that anyway.
Nice work! There are some good ideas here, but it could use some design iteration and polish. I like the flashlight/darkness mechanic, but my first time running the game, the UX bars didn't show up and the dash mechanic did not work, but after restarting they popped in. The player movement is nice, but the controls are a little too spread out, and the jumpy camera movement is a bit dizzying. Having to move the mouse to aim the dash, and then go back to the keyboard for jump is a bit frustrating. But if you iterate on these designs, this could turn out really cool. Keep at it!
funter you are so cool
bnnded!!!
Awesome I love a good platformer. I appreciate the monster at the end of the first big fall... got me a few times lol
I am surprised by how responsive it is! However it feels a bit tough to navigate ambiguously, but otherwise very well done!
Quite interesting but a bit too challenging as it is :)
The game was ok but I seriously could not finish
The movement was really nice in this game took some time to get the hang of which was nice to have as it felt good once you had mastered it.
I like this game a lot. It's simple, but seems to still retain a lot of depth. The mechanic of being in the dark alerting all enemies to your position is very interesting, and I love the good level design of putting the collectable in the first instance of the dark. It incentivises the player to enter that area, subsequently teaching them the mechanic without saying much. The wall jump is interesting and was very fun to try and master. Love it, good work. Could use a life system so each mistake isn't an immediate game over.
tysm for your feedback! i'll consider adding more lives for the player in the future, the insta-death is a little strict
