I got it... that's hell haha. The distance mechanic is nice! I like how you added the text on the land pieces instead of annoying popups lol
Shockingly fun!
I am definitely not the first to know that platformers almost predictably get bad reviews as they are the most overused genre available. However, I will admit this one actually managed to entertain me a bit!
I feel the saving grace is just how simple it is: Get to an exit! That being the only goal, it cut out the concept of prolonging my time just for the sake of points and let me focus on solely navigating the environment. However, with that being the basis of the gameplay, I really wish I could鈥檝e seen better overall textures, but they aren鈥檛 exactly bad either.
You have achieved an example of less being more in this case! Congrats and solid game!
Enjoyed this one. Felt solid to play and I liked the distance to goal indication.
Fun game, especially for a tester. That one jump in the second level was so rage inducing the endorphin rush when you get past it was a legal high. The character is so cute though, what did he do to get sent to Hell and expected back again? XD
Very cool as a test project, and I like the hotter/colder using the distance from the end destination, that was cool
WTH, Short and simple :D I enjoyed it. Though I would've like more variety but I totally understand. If you get a chance check out the game I made, also using gdevelop.
I like the aesthetics. Rather small game but I like that you used the game jam to learn a new engine! It's still on my list to do a game jam with Godot instead of Unity :)
Loved the synth soundtrack! I did get the feeling of hell, that's for sure
