I like the old school skin of your game, and the level design is pretty good.

Thanks! It's done using ASCII style 8x8 character graphics for an early 80's feel.

Fun game...i enjoyed the 8bit music!

Developer

Thanks. I wasn't sure how folks would take to the audio, so I made sure to include a mute button! :-)

A really nice retro game. It takes some time to learn what you can and cannot do, but this was the way back then.

Good fun! Reminded me of some classic old school games and I think the movement not being super smooth really helps in that - and in the tension of fumbling jumps when the timer is ticking!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

For review purposes during Scream Jam 2024, here are the codes you need to directly access levels 2-10:

Level 2: EJK
Level 3: WHU
Level 4: ZFQ
Level 5: ECY
Level 6: EET
Level 7: FJH
Level 8: HZO
Level 9: RYN
Level 10: GIL

Select option 3 from the game's main menu, then type one of the three letter codes.

If you complete level 10 starting from any level other than 1, you will get a congratulation message. Only those who have completed levels 1 through 10 in one session will get to see the true game completion screen!
