Great atmosphere and fantastic music!

Cool game! I really liked the design of the creatures. The ending was cool. The environment and sound design really added to the tension. Good job! :D

I'll confess, I was a little worried, although the monsters didn't follow me, the feeling that at any moment I would be caught was constant. So I can say it was a pretty scary game. Congratulations on the submission!

I enjoyed the game and loved the atmosphere, and the ending was truly fantastic.

A helpful tip: if you play in fullscreen mode, you won’t experience the β€˜crash’ issue that others have mentioned when crouching.

Congrats on your submission!  After I CTRL W'd so many times, I ended up seeing that you could cround with C, so I was able to get around.  I ran straight into the bad guy on purpose because I didn't realize it was a bad guy whoops!  Then when I realized what was going on, I ran into the dark area but got jump scared multiple times and I can't take any more haha.

After a couple of closed windows [Ctrl + W], I finally was able to explore a bit. I really like the monster design in this game.

Loved the ending! Nice environment. The sound design was good but needed a little more variation to make it less repetitive. Just so you know, the "crashes" on the web build are actually caused by the player pressing ctrl+w to move forward and sneak, which is the shortcut for closing the window.

lmao I don't know how none of us caught on to that, thank you. Really appreciate your feedback, ty ty <3

Sadly I discovered that you can just hug the the wall of the fence and be able to reach the ending without needing to avoid the monsters.

Developer

Oh, really? I did put two of them roaming the edges, must've been too easy still. Thanks for playing anyway! :)

Nice setup for a survival horror with a very occult woods theme. I like the background establishing that the player sinks into a deep sleep and awakes during the witching out. The stealth and movement feels pretty commonsense, although it can be a bit tricky to sidestep the masked figures with the haphazard layout of the trees. After a few spooks from the figures, I realised Godot was crashing and the window disappeared - not ideal! I think there's plenty to explore, be it lore, more mechanics or making it even creepier than it already is. Nice work!

Oh! The night we submitted, I read about the latest Godot update having web crashes, maybe it's that! :(
Glad you were able to enjoy some things about it though, thanks for your feedback and for giving it a try! c:
