The music does a whole lot of good for this game, I was tense throughout the whole thing collecting pieces, and my hair stood on end when the demon actually did appear. Great stuff!

Good stuff! Once you round out the rough edges, this'll really shine, I think. Really liked the TV jumpscare! Nice work.

really enjoyed playing this one!

Really fun experience! The sound fxs are really well done (my only note is having a less "silly" sound when you pick up items, it slightly breaks the immersion). But the gameplay is fun, not having too many instructions or UI made it a scarier experience. Great job!

Great game. I enjoyed it a lot. Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)

A little rough around the edges but a neat experiment all together. The audio design fluctuated a little on the volumes, and it would be nice to see the objects spawn in different locations so you're not repeating the same playthroughs. Visually it all feels a little disjointed, but still works well. I managed to finished on my second run, and congrats on making a finish-able game!

I really enjoyed this one!
Seeing you have a bunch of things you want to implement I really hope you do continue after the jam and flesh this out because it really does have some potential to be a nice little cult classic. The visuals were great and the static man was a really nice aesthetic, I wouldn't even bother animating his movement just give him a menacing pose as he floats towards the player! The static visual is pretty scary as is!
All in all I really enjoyed the concept here and hope to see a finished version after the jam!

Really enjoyed the concept of demon hunting with a VHS. I spent a couple of tries turning the tvs on as soon as the game started and quickly found out I could just set everything up and then get the demon with the trap.

As a fellow first time gamejammer, kudos to you for finishing it on time!

Took me a while to get this one running for whatever reason. My PC really didn't want an unknown developer app running but I got there in the end.

Love it! This got me scared (although I am a big weenie) and love the game design. Very easy to figure out what to do even without instructions. Good AI mechanics on the enemy (sees you and chases you). The static on the enemy looks very cool and the T-pose adds character to the game. I am a big fan. <3

Only thing missing is I wish there was more sound design. Maybe ambient noises, but I’m being a little nitpicky.

Hey man, loved your game. Kinda hate how the ambiance doesn't loop and you just play in silence. Still way better than what I can make. I see potential and if you add everything on you todo list it would be amazing. Congrats from one Godot user to another!

Oops.  The ambient music was supposed to loop, but I forgot to check the box for that.  Was rushing so much I never actually play tested long enough to notice, LOL.  I'm uploading a version 0.0.2 with that changed.
