  • How did you make this in a week??? Absolutely insane. Great boomer shooter with a cool concept! Could easily be a demo or game on Steam right now. Thanks for submitting!
  • These are the most authentic 3D corruptions I think you could have possibly conjured up. Great sound design and level design as well. Great controls. Overall amazing experience

How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
The game self "corrupts" as you progress and take damage. Textures, sounds, gameplay, etc are randomized and get a little crazy

Extremely well made! The graphics were a treat to witness, original voice acting, very theme relevant, and fun to play. I really can't come up with any criticisms

Developer

Wow, thank you!

Insane corruption effects and lmao that voice, I genuinely thought it was actually Vinny's Snake voice for a sec

Developer

I will definitely take that lol, thanks!

Highly enjoyable little shooter. Visually very clean (before everything gets corrupted). The textures really make the low poly models effective. I appreciate the map geometry corruptions, something I never got the opportunity to implement myself.

Developer

Thank you!
I had made a sort of doom-like for a jam a couple of years ago, but it looked very muddy so I wanted to step it up for this (it also didn't feel great either). Originally I was planning on having multiple exits for each room, each with a positive corruption associated with them so you'd have to choose one, but that got canned part way through, so it was cool to see that element in yours!

This was a fucking insane ride I loved every minute of it. The voice acting was so funny too. Turned the corruption speed to max and felt like my brain was melting.

Developer(+1)

The intended experience, Thank you! I was a little sick one day of the jam so I used the raspy voice to my advantage lol

WHAT DID MY PC EVER DO TO YOU > : (

Really great. The visuals in the "normal" game are really well done. The corruptions were so good that I had to stop playing for the sake of my eyes and brain. Good job balancing corruptions and having the game somehow still playable!

Developer(+1)

I'm pretty happy with how the "normal" game turned out (maybe aside from how dumb the enemies are lol), so thank you!

it's freaking amazing, like corrupted doom. I found bug it works before corruption. Hold back + look up + shift and you will fly in place you was standing, BUT please don't remove it, so fun to play.

Developer(+1)

At this point any bug is a feature. Glad you enjoyed!

This game would kill a victorian child.

The game crashed when shit got really bad, but I assume it was intentional

Developer (1 edit)

lmao it certainly would. There is an intentional crash, and it was probably that. (Already planning a setting to disable that and adjust rate of corruption for tonight) <- that is done
