This is one of the few stand out (in a good way) games of this jam. Good job!
Ok, for me it´s nearly perfect. Great game, fun, creative and enough balanced (it could be a bit more challenging, it´s easy to finish the game in the first play). It could be better implement maluses (not see the next levels for "x" turns, levels with all monsters, etc.). If one of the players is dead, you can avoid the battles with the second player until revive the first...
Super creative game mechanics and polish is 10/10. Loved it!
Nice little game. The concept is simple and the resulting game is fun to play. I really liked the idea of one button affecting both characters. The graphics is really good and the overall game is very polished.
Very original idea and very polished game, the game feel is fantastic. The gameplay needs some tweaking, because in the end I just played looking at the board with the spells being extra effects I gained for doing nothing. The only timed I used them willingly was when my knight died and I could revive him with a spell. By just focusing on making the mage follow the easiest path I was able to reach floor 90 on my first try without having to make any interesting decisions. Still, I understand that with the time limitations it's impossible to properly tune the gameplay so much.
Overall a very good game, one of the most creative ideas and I see a lot of potential for this if you develop it further: You could even add more unlockable characters with different spells and special mechanics. Great job!
Actually pretty fun game, very fast and simple to understand, but i think it might be too simple for the fact that i just kinda always chose whatever had better numbers for me, am i gonna fight the enemy with 20hp or the one with 45hp, hmm i wonder am i gonna drink the potion that heals 3hp, or the one that heals 1. it just seemed too easy so i made.
i made it to floor 73 on my 1st run and 92 on my 2nd
One of the best games submitted here. It's very fun and satisfying to play correctly.
Really polished game, and interesting progression i like it.
