This game is so cool. I can't believe how much content is in this game, and the God mode at the end with extended levels is absolutely amazing. I found the yellow world to be a bit too fast, but it was still doable. The only thing that kinda disappoints me is that the secret level with the ice seems to be unbeatable since I can't walk beside the button. I got all the other hidden keys, so I'm just stuck with this one. Overall though, this is a super impressive submission!

Spoiler Warning!!!!!

Just to explain what I mean, I've marked in red where the mysterious hitboxes seem to be. I can't move there, place boxes or shoot, so I'm guessing a wall object accidentally got placed there. Not a big deal though. This was an awesome game, and and absolute joy to play through.

Developer

yep, sadly knew about this bug; while trying to fix a weird audio glitch with the web version (which turns out, godot's 4.3 web exports are actually quite broken) I accidentally painted collisions over there and only noticed too late to fix it.

I'm super impressed you were able to get there thpugh; I was wondering if anybody would actually ever find our about the final bits.

WOW this game is amazing! It really feels complete - great visuals and audio, unique gameplay, nicely balanced, interesting level design, etc. And I love that the user gets to choose their own a/b buttons - such a nice touch. Beautiful work!

i'ts one of the most creative games in the game jam

Really fun concept and very polished! It was really cool trying this out on stream and figuring out the solutions, I wish I had more time to play it as I'd have liked to have seen all the levels!

Reminded me of some programming puzzle games. Game is very polished, graphics and sound are great.

Such a beautiful game! I loved the retro style and the concept is really simple but fun to play. Also, the game is very polished overall. The only thing I didn't like was the delay after a command was issued. I get it's necessary to recognise patterns (I did something similar in my game) but I think it's too high.

Developer

There's no delay (actually), well, there is, but the point is that the commands are read and executed on the rhythm, with every world having a different rhythm. You have a metronome on the top of the screen that beeps on the beat to help you keep track of the rhythm.

Allowing the player to choose their buttons at the beginning is just chef's kiss. Very well done. I keep seeing these awesome games made in godot and i am getting ready to pack up my unity bags and toss em in the garbage lol

Loved the idea for this, really cool interpretation! I know its random, but I really liked how your commands are on a timer as well and the enemies move along with that, really well done.

Love this game. The idea is cool and graphics are nice as well. I think purple diagonal lines strain your eyes during gameplay, so I'd personally use solid colors to avoid too much noise on the screen.

I loved it!
The game makes full use of just two buttons, and the art style is awesome.
With a bit more polish, I can easily see it fitting right in on an old two-button console or even the Playdate.
Well executed, mate!

Great idea, this game really makes the most of just 2 buttons! And the graphics fit perfectly.

Extremely polished for a 3 days jam game! The visuals are stunning and the levels are quite clever too Really really nice job on this one, good job!

Fantastic game! It takes some time to get used to the controls but once you understand them it is a hell of a lot of fun. The levels are very cleverly designed they are not easy I got stuck on what I believe to be the fourth. The visual style also fits very well with the game together with the music. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Getting stuck on the 4 level aaa, so unfortunate, the last level before the real game begins.

I was considering cutting it tbh as it's def the most puzzling level and might block people just before they get the experience the best part...

Don't worry Ill try to beat it another time. I feel like i have to try!
