Here I was thinking that the game was really easy, and didn't work properly when I won. Then he came back up, and made me reconsider lol. It wasn't terribly challenging, but for a jam, it was pretty close to perfect. The progression is really well done, and the attack patterns were very intuitive to learn. My only recommendation would be giving a way to see the player's health. Great work!

Hi!!! Thank you so much for the comment! I also wasn’t very happy with the player’s life mechanic. My idea was to use the theme so that the character’s light would fade as they took damage, but in the end, it didn’t turn out as well as I’d hoped.

Solid polish, particles, and lighting effects.  Fun little entry.

Neat game! I really enjoyed the polish you got.. good stuff!! The lore was pretty well presented as well! GG..

this also works fine! but i'm not good to fight using right hand on mouse and a single left hand to move and jump ( normally WASD is for exclusive use to a single hand ). perhaps button settings with attack on left mouse button and jump on right mouse button sound better

It was great! Was a bit unsure at what you’re supposed to do at the start, though. Since the dimmed-out boss sprite kinda gave the impression that it’s a bit farther into the background than it is. Other than that, it’s a fairly decent experience.
