A very lovely chicken raising game, and I do mean LOVELY. Eggs of Greed makes it sound like some evil conspiracy, but really you're just trying to pamper your little chickies with the best grass and feed money can buy (while raking in the profits, of course). I liked the narration at the beginning, and I dig the pixel art and UI (the UI looks real nice). One thing about the chickens in the top left is sometimes the top most chicken has eggs ready and the egg icon clips over the top of the camera, making it hard to spot, but that's just a small thing really. A really well made game, fantastic job!
A very impressive and well-made game. Art and audio are both really nice! The gameplay is simple but satisfying and polished. Perhaps it could have an extra goal to add replayibility, e.g get the Chicken Spring Cup as quickly as possible? Great little game overall :)

tiny little nitpick : there really isn't any reason to buy brown chickens over white chickens since the price difference is very low & the white ones produce twice as much eggs.
And also the chicken noises becomes a lot once you start having a lot of chicken. ^^
But apart from that it's a really cool & beautiful looking game. Great work !

Omg, I love this game!! The core gameplay loop is very satisfying, and it was nice to take occasional breaks and check back in to see how my chickens were doing. I am kind of a sucker for idle games, after all...
Also, seeing all the chickens dance at the end was adorable. Awesome stuff!!!

I don't think I need words to express that I liked it, I wonder what type of font you used for the menu and for everything else perfect, although listening to 115 chickens cackling is annoying after a while, but I hope this gem continues to work

I used the free 8-bit-operator font: https://www.1001freefonts.com/8-bit-operator.font. I also disabled the font anti-aliasing in my project (made with godot).
The shear chaos of 173 chickens was truly a sight to behold! Super well done :D
Pretty great game with a cool art style tho the chicken sound effects do get annoying after buying a lot of chickens. All in all its an amazing game!

Very satisfying sounds and visuals, it's quite addictive :) Thanks for adding all they keyboard shortcuts, it makes it a lot more efficient. Reminds me of Slime Rancher, good job.

Nice simulation game! Maybe you could add a bit more challenge by having enemies or a timer on how fast a player got the trophy. But still even without that the game is addictive.
I really liked this game if you work on it for another week then you can add more gameplay because so far the game is a bit boring.
At the end my dog just came to my room to see what makes all those chicken noises haha.

Thank for your comment. Once you unlock the "golden nugget feeding", both brown and white chickens lay a single golden eggs (equal production. Therefore, in the end game, brown chickens are a bit better because cheaper to buy in large number :)

Overall solid game! I'm not the biggest fan of tycoon games but I could tell you made a solid working game. I liked it!
