A surprising sleeper hit, I'm just going to say it now. Insanely polished visuals, great sound design, solid gameplay loop, what more could you ask for (besides more stuff to do)? Really great job, you've outdone yourself.

I really really loved this game, for me, you just won the jam.
The only thing i could say is pls add more content and some issues i had:
- I left a dead chicken on the floor next to the bench, so when i tried to grab it, i opened the shop instead
- The dialog bubbles of the costumers wouldnt let me see the different work stations

These issues are actually both addressed already and I'll upload the update after the jam :)
Not sure I'll add much more content to it yet (but I have a few ideas for it still), next update will mostly be some bug fixes, qol features, difficulty balancing and controller support.
But don't hesitate to follow my itch if you want, I might expand the game in the near future.

I can't imagine how a game this polished can be made by a single person in 48 hours! It's super juicy, with good audio, and the pixel art is really neat and consistent! Great job!
Adorable art and nice gameplay mechanics! The music was getting kind of redundant after a few minutes but it was overall a really good experience, congrats on making it in 48h!!

Just one thing, use one key for all the game is a bit frustrating, I enter the shop when I don't wanted to many time, and also the customer's speech bubble hide the thing in the bottom of the screen (I hope you'll understand what I wanted to say, I'm french so my english isn't very good).

I'm actually already aware of this two issues and I'm working on it. They will be fixed in the next update after the jam. :)
Enter will be used only for grabing and E for interacting with shop, choping & such
Also speech bubbles will be moved down a bit so they don't obstruct the view anymore.

Really cute and fun game, I think this is a great short game for a jam. The font on the title could be more legible apart from that its PERFECT! <3

I was going to ask why the chickens run away from me, but then I saw... :'(
Really, though, this is an AWESOME game!! The music and sound effects and bounciness all lend themselves to the frantic nature of the game perfectly, and I felt like things kept escalating in things I didn't anticipate even after purchasing everything. I would definitely love to play an expanded version! Awesome job!

The is fun to play and the are is very cute. There is just one point where there's a lot of buyers and I can't see behind their bubblehead. But overall it a very fun game!

Incredible potential here! I can definitely see myself playing this for hours if it were a full incremental game.
Awesome game! So addicting and fun! I love all the little details you added like the squash and stretch on the characters and shop items and also how the chickens try to run away from you when you try to catch them. The art and music was on point too!

I didn't expect to get this invested in this game, damn! My only complaint is the butchering part, I was just having a happy time chasing my feathery friends around and suddenly someone wants me to murder my friends
