Great animations with momentum, and the platforming aspect is very consistent. Also loved the message & details in the backgrounds!

Really liked the world design, the animations felt very smooth as well, specially the jump. I'd suggest adding the name of the person that is talking to have an easier time following the story, but overall very good!

Thank you! I'm working (and by that I mean watching every tutorial I can find) on how to make a much better dialogue system.

Solid attention to detail in the animations. Loved the music and sound design. The dialogue felt really natural too. Well done on all fronts!

great atmosphere. I'd rate this #1 for that! Controls are smooth and nice. Jump height/speed felt good. Animations were amazing (I almost missed it, but the enemies have an Idle animation where they smoke! LOVE the details in here)

Great submission!

Developer

Thank you!

The atmosphere is very nice! The mood and the environment really stand out. A small improvement would be adding visual cues for when the enemies are hit. Overall nice design.

Developer

Thank you! Our amazing animator made sprites for that I just didn't have the time to get it in there! It will certainly be added!

The animations are very satisfying and the atmosphere and sounds fit very nicely within the cyberpunk theme, and the dialogue is well written in my opinion. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you!

I really apprechiate the diologue writing in this one. Overall great atmosphere with the sound and visuals. Too bad the endings didn't get finished in time for the submission, I'll check on the 2.0 :)

Thank you! It was totally my fault. I thought we had another day for it. I was talking with my team on discord about adding a bunch of rooms and fleshing out the boss and they came at me with the, "Wait, don't you realize it's due in 15 minutes!?"  :

art, animation and dialog system are so good but Idk where to go and enemy keep spawning when I switch the room + it restart too far

Developer

The gun is located in the far right room. With that, (and crouching a lot) the cops will fall before you like wheat to a scythe! Also, I needed more time to make better rooms! :/

Submitted(+1)

I mean after I get a gun and some square thing that red cop protect

Developer

Oh, the problem is that I didn't code a proper ending because I thought we had another day! You need to deliver the arm to either the doctor or Fred. Then it should end, but it doesn't!

oh so I did it right all along, OOF!

Unfinished reward when you return with the arm and the popo spawning right outside the room with the arm is a little cheeky, but otherwise great job. Art is top notch and the music fits nicely.

You're right of course! Had a bit of a rushed finished so I messed up the ending, but my codevelopers did wonderfully with the art and sound! I'm going to be fixing it up over the next couple days. When the jam is finished, we'll upload a 2.0. Thanks for playing!
