I was so excited to play this, I love tycoons and management sims so much. This is so cute and fun! The camera is the biggest weak point, but everyone else has already brought that up so I don't know what I can add here haha

Extremely ambitious for a game Jam, there are a lot of content, animations and interactions, game mechanics are not so clear and I don't really know if that is the game weakness, feels a little unbalanced and there are no clear objectives, as others say camera movement, zoom and rotation is too fast it does not allows you to have a clear view before a lot of tries.
I enjoyed the gameplay and I see there are a lot of suggestions that will help you advance further if you continue with this project.
Congratulations for your hard work!
Incredibly ambitious for a jam game. Sure wasn't expecting a 3D sim game complex enough to need an illustrated tutorial! I played to day 14, maybe an hour ish.
Pros:
- -A crazy amount of content and variety for a jam game
- -A distinct cutsey-simple aesthetic
- -Actually a pretty solid game it seems!
Nitpicks:
- (I don't play sims so I'm not really familiar with the genre's norms)
- -Camera rotation too fast; in general it's hard to move and zoom in on stuff, coming from an FPS background
- -Hard to gauge the zeitgeist, how all the clients feel about stuff, how decorations affect things, etc
- -Wish it could speed up faster than 4x (30x?)
- -I have no idea how to address noise complaints, "increased monitoring" requests, etc
Overall very impressive, but hard to gauge the meta and I don't think there's an end game. Which, would be well outside the scope of a jam game I'm sure, just mentioning it.
An amazingly impressive project to make this quickly! There is a ridiculous variety of characters that are all gorgeously modelled and animated! Environments are just as varied, and visually appealing. There's popups and particles to show what's happening. The whole game has a friendly, warm and colorful look to it and loads surprisingly quickly in the web version in spite of all the graphics!
The gameplay core is solidly built with good UI design and controls. The excellent pathfinding allows players to set up shop however they desire. An option to lock new objects to the grid and rotate 45 degrees at a time may be a good addition for players who like precision. A strong gameplay hook would give players something to aim for beyond maxing reputation, building every type of item or hiring all the staff. Maybe the staff can have some days off to enjoy the club?
The world's narrative is mostly told in the form of application letters, bills and the tutorial at the moment. There's some creative writing in all of those things, but it doesn't fully feel like you're getting to know the characters just yet.
Audio work is good with an excellent soundtrack, a wide variety of sex noises and effect sounds for every action you do. The music didn't always play for me and the the sexual sounds are a little too frequent, so some tuning may be needed for full immersion.
This is a difficult game to make in a year, and you've built it in month! Not only did you hit the basic goals of having a client, a worker and an object, you've made a wide ranging variety of all of them! I really admire your dedication!
this is a cool idea! it's fun building rooms and arrangements how i like, although i don't think i'm very good at the game haha. really surprised how much you fit into this!
Was glued to this game for a fat minute, definitely enjoyed building things. My one gripe would be the placement of the info panels at times, where they’d overshadow certain settings. Other than that, solid game 👍
