Stuff you did not do in February
i had done several hours of work (probably between 4-8 hours) on the 3d models i used for the game.

It's a wonderful game.  Really solid deckbuilding combat, nice concept.  I sure enjoyed it

one minor point i super appreciated is the second click to display all the text instead of wait for it to print, ty :)

is it possible this comment is on the wrong game? i can't think of what you're referring to here lol.

you're right i thought it was reading the preamble, i'm super tired.

not my sort of activity but i found the mix of "balanced" and "unbalanced" cards to add, as you say, a bit of fun, and the overall scenario to present "an engaging and reasonably apt sense and scope of play" once i got used to the idea of the card hand. easy enough for me to understand wow.

there's a bit of waffle room (or really impatience on my part, i don't do this) with trying to pull the cards up and them reordering before i can grab one again i think it was. the music had only so much time with me but it fits well :) i can see a further iteration with cards in the scene and lavish overproduction :p

wow!! i love that main idea of getting your partner to orgasm before you.. it works so well with a head-to-head game like this.
very fun, sexy, and well balanced. and such nice polish. i am a little slow when it comes to card games, but the rules were pretty easy to follow thanks to the UI/tooltips

This was good. Definitely got me engaged towards the end of it. Almost sad it ended so soon. I appreciate that the game didn't really have a punishment for losing. Some of those mares absolutely body me, lol.

I am thrilled to see such a carefully crafted card game in the game jam! There's a lot of attention to player access with an in-depth tutorial and easily accessible hints for all of the various interface elements. The menu design is excellent. There's a great variety of card art, card powers, and narrative events to keep players engaged. I like the blend of 3D and 2D, I feel like it's handled very well. The music fits and there's a good variety of sound effects.

The card game mechanics focus a lot more on deck building than piloting, which isn't a bad thing, but I found that almost every hand I drew played itself. Perhaps more of the card effects could focus on rewarding careful playstyles or maybe cards can have a secondary function if left in hand at the end of the turn?

A lot of love, effort, and careful attention to details has clearly went into making this game, very well done!

interesting point about piloting. i think you're absolutely right... i found in my playthroughs there were a couple times when i needed to check the draw pile, and a couple times when i simply made a misplay (especially due to the "flexibility?" card) but for the most part the hands do play themselves.

on the one hand, this is something i was kind of shooting for--you'll notice, for example, that there are two very easily accessible draw 3 cards which are just ridiculously strong. the idea was that it is simply fun to play a big hand of cards, and that it really helps sell the idea of the card mechanics as sex when you can kind of flow through them in this way. that really is kind of the idea with the in/out system too, there's this literal rhythm to it as you're playing.

but on the other hand, i did want to make a reasonably strategic game. i think i'm decently happy with the balance (i often find myself losing to a unique subset of encounters on each run, so i don't think most of them are too over or undertuned) but it is almost certainly bad in some places. i find the game pretty easy on average but i have no idea if that's true for everyone else, and i tend to err on the side of "let it slide" for jam game difficulty as i often find i'm way better at my own games than the average player (cause i've spent the whole month playing it...)

(also, it is super easy to go infinite in my experience. i might want to nerf the draw cards and such a bit. lol)

anyway. that's where i'm coming from. i do think i too would like to see piloting be more of a consideration. thank you for the ideas along those lines! (and to be honest i didn't even think about the deckbuilding/piloting distinction even once over the past month... so thank you for even just the reminder of this kind of conceptualization, lol!)

Easily my fav game of this jam so far.

The game-flow really feels like having Sex (not physically ofc lol) and the silly and straightforward conversations with the horses were really enjoyable too.

I especially enjoy the polish that went into this game with all the animations and Tooltips. Also, i like how the card game doesn't really have a horse-topic tbh. You could easily print this with humans, furries etc and it would still make sense.

You really got the deckbuilding and card mechanics doing an amazing job at representing sex (especially when it comes to the slight nervousness that comes with having an orgasm earlier than your partner lol)

The card mechanics are creative and resonant and it's really fun to play (and it probably looks hot if you're into equines mating)

Fun. Well put together.
