I really enjoyed this submission. I liked the art style to the game, as well as the comedic elements(intentional or not) to the sound design. The game played really well, however, it did get very repetitive after a while as there was no increase in the difficulty. The sounds also got quite annoying when played further but it was only because they were a tad bit too loud. The game could've also benefited from multiple levels as well as the ability to play again after death without having to quit the game, as it just froze after my health reached zero. This game was a very decent submission overall.

A decent game, works quite well and reminds me a lot of Rayman, The artwork is nice but I feel the addition of animation would get me into the game more, as well as some sort of target. It was an interesting choice of sound effects for punching and kicking.

(First thing I can say is headphone users beware). The overall character designs are good and give off that Rayman/forget game name vibes. I love the ancient Gladiator theme that you guys went for and how it clashes with Egypt style in fighting guardians of their underworld. The animation and background art are nicely done aswell. The charater fists though have white pixels around the edge where they were cut and the overall game itself doesn't seem to have an overall goal to work towards.

overall though this game is a good attempt at creating a fighting game, good job guys.

Pretty cool game - I especially liked the character designs! The attacks were really responsive but I did find that if you stood still and didn't attack then you wouldn't lose health for a bit and then would rapidly lose it. Also I wasn't sure whether there was an end screen or not? Anyways your team should be super proud - it's a great submission! Well donee :DDD

A decent attempt at the genre, with some interesting "physics-like" fighting interactions with some visually appealing characters reminiscent of the Rayman series.

The game can feel frustratingly repetitive with the same characters and with no goal in mind and once you understand you can alternate punch and kick rapidly it becomes incredibly easy to go for a considerable amount of time. In addition, you can just walk off the sides of the map which is quite an easy fix. Visually, the game's environments could use some improvements and polish. Regarding Audio, its commendable that you put it in, but consider your audio levels as it was fairly uncomfortable to listen to.

Overall, the core gameplay was entirely serviceable and even does a good job with hit registration, etc. but could definitely benefit from playtesting and polishing. Good work.

Really cool theme for a fighting game, the sprites look great and I love the way the hands and feet move (definite rayman vibes).

The game could definitely benefit from an objective however, maybe a time limit to survive or waves of a specific number of enemies. The sound effect of getting hit was also piercingly loud (RIP headphone users)

I had fun with this, and with a few quality of life fixes I could see myself playing it over and over again. Good job!

Fun submission.

I liked the theme of the game,  although I did find the character and enemy designs to be a little... Familiar. It was nice to see a functioning health bar,  however I don't believe the game presented too much challenge.

I did find that if you held in one direction, you would permanently fall out of bounds, and be unable to return. This would make the game unplayable if you happened to do it. To fix this, I'd suggest adding some invisible boundaries at the edges of each side of the stage.

Still, a fun submission to play, well done.

A good game, liked how you fit this within a coliseum type theme with the artwork fitting well, the background music was well done and the characters really stood out to me, I really liked the enemy designs as for some reason they sort of reminded me of rayman with the body and hands, I liked how you had a health bar at the top but was expecting their to be an end screen or something, if there is I may not have got far enough, once I got used to the game I did find it easy and would of liked a challenge within this, but overall this is a well made game. well done!
