Cool proof of concept, was starteled by the inverted controls initially as I wasnt expecting them and it controls rather well
The controls for the plane felt great with the fire vfx and I liked the textures for the models. For the gameplay, there's no win or death condition when colliding with any of the objects in the environment.
No collision made the game too easy as there was no challenge or reason to move and some sound effects would have gone a long way. However one of the best controlling planes and the attention to detail with the fire effect when you shot was really cool.
I really like the models and textures (especially the player character which seems reminiscent of serenity) I don't know if my game broke and stopped spawning things but I ended up looking at guitar hero almost. I don't think it ran properly on my PC though.
It's a solid start, nice job!
Cover art is great! The models are decent.
Unfortunately as stated by others, the game doesn't seem to have colliders on anything so you can technically just not touch the controls throughout the whole game and win, meaning there isn't much of a game there. The smoke also is a little harsh and there seem to be a fair few spelling mistakes across different presentations of the game's title (itch page, cover art and game exe)
As previous people said there is not a lot going on, smoke made it quite hard to see and the lack of collision just allowed me to fly endlessly through the terrain.
There isn't much of a game here but I can see the potential, I liked how weighted the vehicle was and the inverted controls were a nice touch, your guns were also very good but there wasn't anything to shoot at. The effects that came out the back of your vessel. But I felt as though the effects got in the way of the camera if you stayed in the middle. Your game could have also had some collision detection and then we could have at least tried to avoid the obstacles that were placed in our path.
Some form of audio would have made this a much better experience.
I like the controls of the players ship. However, the lack of sound, lack of collision and lack of enemies made it feel a bit dull. The models were fine, if just a bit basic.
Gotta give props for the Nice Image art, however, it's not the best from there. Models are very simple but they would do their job, However, the main problems strains from the lack of actual gameplay. There is no incentive to dodge the logs as you go through them and there isn't anything I could find to shoot as well there being no end to the level. Smaller polish that is missing is stuff like sound effects, a main menu. The visual effects on the guns and the engine are really nice and add weight to the ship. Overall, there is quite a lot of potential to this game, I like the concept presented, however, the game is still very underdeveloped.
