I love the Tenshi sprite. The little :3 grin she has the whole time while she is making this snowball bigger, also the crying animation is adorable. I like how stage 4 is basically a victory lap where you just inflict massive pain.
I wasn't sure if there was one I missed, but the game would benefit from a quick restart option.
you can restart by pressing r, at least in the newer version
Kinda reminds me of a high-stakes Animal Crossing snowball rolling. This has a lot of charm (splat.mp3 my beloved) and I could tell it was fun to make because that last level was very satisfying.
Mastering the momentum is challenging but fun! it reminds me of those old physics based flash games in a good way! I spent waaay too much time on this Tenshi Simlator.
Cute and mischievus graphics too! thank you for stage 4 by the way.
What a funny concept executed very well! It's genuinely engaging, challenging and fun to play. You can really feel the weight of the snowball as you progress, and it makes for a very risk/reward gameplay which is satisfying to win. Genuinely awesome job, everyone!
A cheeky goblin's least impressive present. ᗜˬᗜ
This kind of easygoing overkill humour, that's my kind. This game also has the giant extra bonus of being a 104% accurate Dung Beetle Simulator, except, you know, human sized. It's pretty well done.
Look at Tenshi's face and think. About what she's thinking. What, do you hear?
Oh? "Donation to the shrine, better make a big one!" Oh how thoughtful of her, right? Hopefully her kindness doesn't crush the donation bo- Oh yeah of course. That's just. How she rolls lol
I half-expected the trees to be katamari-damacied.
Love it when I realized halfway that, no, it's not Tenshi that I'm controlling, it's the huge-ass snowball.
This game's harder than hard, but it's cool as cool.
did you play the outdated version?
Yes...
Amazingly done! It's short and not-too-hard (with the rebalance patch, the original version is outta wack), but most of all it's presented beautifully and all the art and music come together to make a full-fledged jam experience.
I played the unfixed version, it is really hard to control when you are rolling a big chunk of snowball with high speed, can only say that it is really challenging.
The art looks great, and I like the little animation when the main character lost the whole snowball.
the unfixed version is that hard because i had to create the stages in the last few hours, so i had little time to playtest them myself or let other people try them. i would definitely appreciate if you tried the fixed version
The game looks and sounds beautiful, it's a challenging snowball game where you evade obstacles and make the snowball bigger.
The only levels i could complete are the first and the last (obviously), maybe i'm just bad at this kind of momentum heavy based game.
I would have liked a little bit more of control over the snowball, like making it easy to control when it's small but harder to do so when it's big and some type of skill like a dash to gain some extra speed or cancel movement. Also some kind of indicative of when the snowball is big enough to break the shrine, like a lightbulb when is big enough appearing on top of Tenshi's head or something.
Overall it was pretty fun.
Yeaah, the difficulty is definitely way out of wack. I uploaded a patch that makes the game more forgiving to play so be sure to check that out
