I think it's really funny that you've somehow managed to work on the only two jam games that have remixes of Skygazer in them lol. Cool demo that kept getting better as time went on (to the point that I think perhaps polishing up the earlier levels might be worth it lol). I think the boss especially was a very nice way to cap the game off.
Kyute. Always really liked Kero Blaster, so a game that's meant to be like it is definitely gonna be right up my alley. Epic pixel art and controls, great music, great everything, basically. There's an impressive variety in enemies, and the boss is pretty well-designed, though I think it has a bit too much health, at least for the weapon you have in the jam version.
In short, it's frogtastic.
I like its art,but i think it‘s too easy.
My name is John Suwako and I must shoot.
Great presentation all around. I like how the player is able to experiment and quickly learn what enemies do without any need for tutorials or handholding. Boss itself was real neat too.
Amazing game from what I've played, had to stop though since mashing the Z button to swim really hurt my hand ><
Amazing presentation, camera's a bit janky but it's a pixel game so that's to be expected, and great enemy designs ^^
Controler support would be appreciated in an update, as the keyboard ones hurt my hands after a while
It's very polished, but it really does feel like a stage 1 in a longer game. Not sure what the point items are for, but innocent creatures died so I could obtain like hundreds of them, so I hope they are important.
Hoping to make the point items do stuff in the postjam release! (they were always intended to do stuff, just never implemented) workin on it as we speak. Also, thank you!
Awesome stuff, there’s so much oomph to the presentation it just feels great to make your way through. The art is really good.
Maybe just because this is the first few levels in a jam, but it was very easy. Not really an issue here but I think for a longer game I’d want it to challenge a lot more.
The chiptune music was a lot of fun, quite funky iterations of the chosen tracks.
The boss was honestly the standout to me. Super dynamic, fun to learn, lots of eye candy. More of that please!
Great game that feels like Megaman and Cave Story
Favorite part: I was just vibing throughout the whole game.
Adorable game with lots of polish. Definitely excited to see updates.
Very charming game. I love the art and the music in this game so much. Would love to see the full version in the future. The only thing I can notice that could be a problem is the camera during the boss fight stutters quite a bit and it is a little disorientating sometimes.
Keep up the amazing work!
I'm a bit biased since Kero Blaster is one of my favourite games of all times but this is super good!
This pixel art is great. So many little animations.
Super cute, love the art
