Definitely a fun little game. I'll probably play again when I'm on my desktop as I was having trouble using my laptop touch pad for it but it was still fun!

For a game made in three hours only you did an incredible job. The core idea is neat, even if I had a hard time in the begining to accustom myself to the gameplay, and the other problem I had was with the fact that we can fall off, it makes the game a bit too hard when you have to pay attention to the bullets, the monsters and the cliffs. Visually it does look great, and I found myself playing the game more than I imagine I would at first, so overall good job, it was a pleasure to test your game!

This is a really nice and creative game! I really enjoyed it. At first I was a little confused that the 'bullets' I shot did not hurt the enemies. Then I realized that I was actually shooting guns, which were in turn making the bullets, and I thought 'that is really cool and chaotic'. You kind of make your own bullet-hell game, which is really interesting.

Sometimes a gun would shoot if it were right in front of me. This felt a bit unfair sometimes, especially when I just created it. Perhaps it would feel better if guns only shoot if they are a certain distance away from the player? Maybe this is not what you were going for though :)

The art was really nice as well. Are these just simple shapes with some pixel shader on top? Or how did you do this? Anyway it works really well :D I echo the others that some music would be amazing. Some extra game feel would also help a lot I think.

Great submission! I really enjoyed this one :D

Thanks for the nice comments and feedback! The pixel effect is achieved by rendering the game at a small resolution, for this game I used 384x216 and then I upscale that to whatever the display resolution is. This makes everything automaticly look pixely and is perfect for particle effects. The sprites is normal 16x16 and no shader is required with this technique.

I see! That is cool! Thanks for sharing that, that might come in useful at some point :D

Funny idea. A music would be a great addition ! Well done, the idea has potential.

Developer

Thank you! Unfortunately I had no time left to do music

This one was really good! I really like the visuals and the concept is great. Having a bullet-hell where you shoot the bullets that hurt you is very original!

Thanks for playing! :)

Yo dawg! I heard you like guns, so I put guns in your guns so you can shoot while you shoot.

Nice looking game and perfect take on the theme.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

This is awesome. I hoped for a game where you shoot a gun that shoots guns, but you not only made it, its even better that I imagined! I hope you'll update this, because it really plays well. Its not too fast, but remains challenging. :')

Thanks for playing! I'm happy that you enjoyed it and that the difficulty was fine.

I know how hard it is to balance games that you build yourself. ^^
