yes!! Hitting the engine with the wrench is the proper way to cool it down

I loved the graphics

Now you are, pinguinosod ... now you are.

Impressive visuals :o

I had no idea what to do, but I enjoyed stabbing everything with my wrench!

Developer

Stabbing is the best way to use a wrench! Try and stab the red things :)

I will stab all the red things!

I love jabbing the wrench into stuff to fix it lol

Developer

As a software developer, this seemed like the correct way to fix things :)

Wow! It's amazing that you were able to make this game in such a short period of time!! The movement controls are so smooth. I love the music - it fits the space theme perfectly! And the voiceover is perfect and very helpful. Also, just wanted to mention how awesome the name of this game is. It's so unique and intriguing and also every accurate to the game as it can be bit stressful (but in a good way) getting to the engines in tim. Great job! :)

Developer

Thank you! We had a really great time making it - lots of hacky features and fixes, but that's the nature of a micro-jam like this!

Help I can't play the game. How do you fix the engine? I tried clicking but it doesn't work

Developer

> How do you fix the engine?

If the wrench animation and sound effect fires, you know it worked. You may have to get closer to the center of the engine asset to fix it - it's a little buggy on the edges.

Nice job!
I think i died a couple times from the engines overheating without hearing a warning, but I get the jist.
Well done for doing this in 3hrs!

Developer

> I think i died a couple times from the engines overheating without hearing a warning

Yeah, between overlapping audio, and bugs, it's more panic inducing for me than the players sometimes haha.

> but I get the jist.

That's all you need! Thanks for playing, glad you liked it :)

I enjoyed the chaotic nature of running back and forth from one engine to another, sometimes fixing the steering wheel. Everything that needs fixing is very well highlighted, although sometimes I had to find a very specific tricky place where the wrench would work. I would say its decently polished and I didn't encounter bugs, except maybe some questionable collision with some protruding decoration elements. Good game, I was surprised to see a polished 3D first-person game made in 3 hours!

Yeah, the engines were added in the last hour of the jam, and didn't get the TLC the rest of the game got. We found the bug too late, and didn't have time to fix it.

Ah, good old POLYGON Sci-Fi.😊This is a pretty good kitbash, you got a lot of nice clutter in there without distracting attention from the gameplay elements; not bad at all for three hours! I think taking just a little bit of that time for recolouring or postprocessing would have made it look really unique?

The gameplay was fun; I had no problems navigating the ship, never got stuck on anything. Navigation was sometimes a challenge with (in particular) the multiple engines, but the highlighting was very clear and the level had good sightlines so it wasn't much of a problem.

Overall, well-made entry, good job!

> Ah, good old POLYGON Sci-Fi.

Obviously 3 hours is not enough to model all the stuff we wanted in the game, so we had to compromise by using an asset pack. Good eye :)

That would have been a really great addition, you're right. We were panicking getting the game in one piece in 3 hours per person, so maybe next time :O!

>I had no problems navigating the ship, never got stuck on anything.

Don't jump out the window, whatever you do. 0 bugs.

> highlighting was very clear and the level had good sightlines so it wasn't much of a problem.

Yeah, that was a focus, as I didn't want players to just sit in one room, but also needed them to see everything in the ship. Glad you liked it!
