A very fun game with great visuals and sound/music.

Good job!

ok so first I know that you had fun making this game,  and there are people out there that might think this is just another vampire survivors clone, but I think that you are really on to some thing here.  really great game.

Thank you so much, this is very encouraging! I’m definitely doing at least one post-jam update, and seek some more feedback. If I can figure out some creative / fun twists on the VS recipe, I might indeed make a run for it and try to turn it into a proper game.

That is great I am following for the post jam update. Hope that you have the time to continue to work on in. I think that you will get a good score in this jam.

Really fun, good integration of the theme. The art & sound matched well. I think the 3d+sprites style (while also looking great) gave some extra context for managing the enemies that would have been missed in a flat 2d style. Nice work!

Thanks for the kinds words Steve, I’m glad you liked the game :)

Love the art and sound effects. Great game

Thank you so much! I can’t take credit for the art (all assets are by the amazing GrafxKid), but I can totally take some credit for the sound effects, although I did make them with Chiptone :)

Thanks for playing!

Dang, I've never even seen Chiptone before. It looks really cool, wish I'd known about it sooner

I love this!!! The feedback is very nice and i love this  2.5D(?) optic. The theme was used very well and it is so much fun. Very good work!

Developer

Thank you for your kinds words :) I couldn’t resist the urge to go 2.5D instead of 2D, I love this sort of view too!

I like how the sounds are working together, shooting SFX and background music fits very well together. The camera movement also looks good and adds some flavor

On the other hand I struggled to understand how the shooting works, took me some time to get that I do not have to press anything :D

Thank you for noticing! :) I generated the sounds with Chiptone and made sure that all tonal effects were actually in the same key as the music, so they don’t sound dissonant.

Sorry for not providing in-game instructions, that item unfortunately remained uncrossed on my todo list :D

And thanks for playing this untitled mess! :)

Really nice submission, I liked how the different coloured zones did different things :)
