Very intense and fun gameplay, love the mechanics and the funny looking enemies. Wasn’t a big fan of the sound effects though, they were a tiny bit on the annoying side IMHO :)

You’ve done an amazing job and in 3 hours… wow! Congrats :)

A really nice game for 3 hours. The sound effects were kind of endearing.

One small note: I would have preferred if you could just hold the left mouse button to continually shoot instead of having to click it every time.

Developer

You lose RAGE points for every missed shot.
But this does not apply to the RAGE ZONE mode, so perhaps automatic fire can be activated there. I'll add this feature, thanks.

Developer

Done. Automatic fire is now enabled during the RAGE ZONE.

My overall favorite game of this jam, seems most completed, would play it in my free time :)

Well you did a really good job with the Fog of war!  The only thing was when I got the chance to upgrade I would sometimes accidentally click an upgrade with out seeing the choice because the mouse pointer was over a button when the choices appeared. overall this is an amazing job for just 3 hours .

Developer(+1)

As missed shots are punished I didn't try to spam the mouse button =)

Thank you for bringing this issue to my attention, I'll fix it with some animation.

Submitted

I did not know  that I will give it another go.

Submitted

ok it is much better when not spamming the shoot like a crazy person lol.

Developer(+1)

Fixed. No more accidental clicks.

Really cool game idea, and the sound effects were interesting too lol

Developer

Well, OK, I actually spent too much time making and optimizing fog of war and had minutes left to make sounds, so I just recorded them with mic =)

A really solid experience! The trade-off between picking up experience and leaving it behind to have more info on where the enemies are was challenging. The upgrades had some nice variety and felt impactful, too. Nice work!

This game is about RAGE and you must FEEL it. I want you to HATE vampires, and try to kill them in groups with as few noise as possible and without missing any shot. So the sounds perfectly match the design idea, as well as hardcore random: you may win in 3 minutes or spend hours without getting a single victory point.

That's the point! I want you to lose!

P.S. Frankly, I like the sounds of vampires' suffering. Also, this is a JoJo reference.

raging at the vampires in the dark was fun. having so little light to fight them was frustrating. makes me want to rage more often. extra vision with fog of war was so cool!

Submitted

Cool Game :) The fog of war is a cool concept as well as the rage. Nice job!

The idea of the game is interesting, anyway the sound is a bit annoying!

Developer(+1)

Fixed the sound to make it more annoying; "a bit" is not enough!

😂

There is some interesting dynamic to leaving the gems behind to see more.

On the con side the sounds are really annoying and way too loud

Developer

Fixed the sound, it is even more annoying now.

I see your mentions of 2 hours on fog of war, so I commend you for making that so well! I liked that more rage meant more vision.
